"Scam ka, bub. Strong-strong... ah, you're wrong."
I glared at James. He just chuckled and help me get up. I sighed when he pulled me on my waist and wiped my face. I tapped his hand away lightly.
"That's enough. I'm not a baby," I said and he laughed.
I looked down and saw the umbrella. I stared at it for a long time, thinking what's the purpose of this one. James sighed so I looked up. I roamed my eyes around but the man is nowhere to be found.
"Kanino 'yan?" James asked.
I shrugged. "Ewan. Someone just put this here," I just said and invited him to go inside the house again.
The man didn't leave my mind. I'm now sitting on my bed and looking at the umbrella placed neatly above the pillow.
My eyes widened when I remembered something. "Oh my God! Wait?! Are you clean?! I mean, you don't have any germs naman, right?"
Because I am so clean with everything. I love cleanliness. I'm obsessed with it. And, I will really go nuts if this umbrella is dirty. It's even on my pillow!
I got the umbrella and opened it. I looked for a name and saw something written on the closer. 'TGEE'
"Huh? Who's this man?" I asked myself.
I got my phone and called Clark. "Girl, do you know someone living around your village with initials TGEE?" I asked.
[TGEE? None, and walang may surname rito na sa E ang start.] He answered.
My forehead creased. "You sure?"
[Anak ako ng may-ari ng village na ito.] He stated like all the possible answer is found in that statement.
I scoffed. "K. Thanks. Bye," I said and ended the call.
The next day and since it's our vacation now, I went to Clark's house. James is still sleeping so I didn't bother him. He slept late last night because of playing computer games.
"Wow," I uttered when Clark opened the gate and saw him wearing a pink shirt and pink shorts. "Pink-pink," I teased and went inside their house.
"Anong ginagawa mo rito?" He asked when he sat opposite to me on the couch.
I crossed my legs. "My Kuyas aren't available. So, can I just ask you to have kickboxing with me instead?"
I avoided the pebble he threw to me. "E, kung sipain kita palabas ng pamamahay namin habang sinusuntok pa?" He asked sarcastically.
I laughed. "You can't do that," I said and looked at the thing I am holding. "Anyway, I'm here because I have something to give back on someone who lives here." I showed him the umbrella.
He went closer to me. "Bakit may ganyan ka? Tsaka, may nagpahiram sa iyo niyan na taga-rito?" He asked and got the umbrella from me.
I nodded and stood up. We walked towards outside their house. "I don't know his name. And, he's... he's handsome, yeah," I said and chuckled.
He was about to pinch me but I showed him my fist. He scoffed. "Kanino mo naman 'to ibabalik?"
I shrugged. "I don't know. He was riding on a bicycle yesterday. So, do you know a man who rides bicycle? He's just about our age."
He nodded. "Ah, baka yung bago rito? Yung mga Pridonte? Last month lang sila lumipat, e," he said.
I cocked my head and looked in our front. We're heading to the court inside this village. A lot of boys is playing there.
