| Chapter 7 |

"I've been trying to go on a date with Jungkook for months, and on your first date you have the opportunity to kiss Taehyung! This is unfair, you are so lucky!", I hear Yerin say for the thousandth time. Since she caught me and Taehyung kissing she hasn't changed the subject, it's starting to get a little annoying.
"I know you're happy for me but can we talk about something else?", she nods, apologizing to me.
"Have you talked to Jungkook?", I ask her and she nods her head saying no. "What are you waiting for?", I put a chocolate chip in my mouth waiting for her to answer my question. "I'm afraid he thinks I'm boring... or worse, that he's not interested in me! No, no, even worse, what if he gave me a fake number?", she says dramatically, "I only talk to him when we go to the bar, but he doesn't pay much attention to me because he's working.", I smile sympathetically at my best friend, picking up her phone on the table, handing it over to her hand, "Just text him, he won't bite silly.", she fearfully unlocks the phone, typing a message to her crush. "I can't do this!", she says, throwing her phone away. I roll my eyes picking up her phone again, typing a brief message to Jungkook. "Done!", she stares at me in shock.

We finished our project for the cinema class, and finally we can have some rest. After we packed our things, we went to the kitchen to make a chocolate cake.
We put on some music and we danced and sang while making our cake.

After putting the cake in the oven, I scrolled on my phone making some time. "Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god! He replied! He replied!", I hear Yerin screaming in the living room. I get up from the chair, walking into the living room and checking up on my best friend. "What did he said?", my best friend puts her phone in front of my face, showing that Jungkook has agreed to go on a date with her. I am happy for my best friend.

"See you tomorrow!"
I close the house door, going back to my living room, I turn on the tv for some background noise, and I lie down on the couch, while typing a message to Taehyung, asking him if he arrived safely at home.

Tae: Hey kitten, I'm fine. Have you finished your project?

Yes, we managed to finish it in time! -

Tae: Have you had dinner yet?

I was about to, do you want to come over? -

Tae: Coming :)

Half an hour later I hear the doorbell ring, giving me the indication that Taehyung has arrived. I open the door smiling at the man in front of me and he smiles back. I make room for him to pass and we walk to the kitchen.
He leans against the counter watching all my movements. "So what are we going to eat?", he asks. "Macaroni and cheese, do you like it?", he nods smiling.

Taehyung puts macaroni on our plates, and I decide to take the glasses out of the cupboard. With a little difficulty due to my height, I pull out one of the glasses, but it slides off my hands, falling on the counter.
I hurry to pick up all the pieces of glass scattered over the counter, apologizing to Taehyung for being so clumsy. He tries to remove the pieces of glass from my hands to prevent me from cutting myself, and I pull my hand out of his, preventing him from cutting himself too, ending up cutting myself in the process. Shit.

"I'm okay, I'm okay!", I repeat more to myself than to him. I look at Taehyung, who looks at me seriously, and I don't understand why. "What's wrong?", I try to get closer to him, but he quickly moves away from me. "Are you afraid of blood or something?", he nods quickly and looks at his feet, trying to avoid looking at me in the eye. I place a towel over my hand and approach Taehyung again, this time he doesn't move, neither looks at me. "It's okay, I'm here!", I try to comfort him while trying to make him look at me.
He carefully raises his head, looking me in the eye, but something about him looks different.
