Chapter 12: I think Im falling in love

~The Next Day~

Ross' Pov:

I feel so bad the other day. I really do know that Ariel is special to me. I.... I.... love her.
"Hey, cutie." Amanda kissed me on the cheek. I didn't even look at her.

"What do you want? Haven't you done enough?" A tear fell down cheek.

"Are you still crying for that little geek dork?" I got up and stood in front of her. And let me tell ya I was not happy when she said that.

"Shut up! And don't ever call her that!" She backed away a little in fright. I backed away before i could do anything else.

"Woah, calm down. Remember this is temporary." She giggled.

"Yeah, after what she saw, she broke up with me and I'm sure she will never take me back. This is all your fault!" I put my head down, not even wanting to look at her. I cried.

"This is all part of my plan." She evilly laughed quietly.

"I know your plan is not gonna work." I said.

"Well whatever because I know your biggest secret and you don't want anyone, especially Ariel to know. Right?" She said in my ear. I looked at her with a mad face.

"Your a bitch. I hope you know that."
She just laughed.

Jackie's Pov:

I was walking down the halls but I think I forgot something. I turned back.
"Ow." Someone bumped into me and I'm on the floor.

"I am so sorry. Are you ok?" He picked up my things and helped me get up.

"Yeah, I'm fine."

"Ok good. I'm Niall." He extended out his hand for a handshake.

"Hi, I'm Jackie." I smiled.

"Nice to meet you Jackie."

"You too, hey aren't you in that band named One Direction."

"Yes I am. Are you a fan?"

"Well actually my best friend is. Sorry."

"Why are you sorry? It's cool, but you look so familiar? Have we met?" He said while looking at me.

"Um... I don't think so."

"Really? Cuz you look so familiar..... Wait! You are that girl that we brought up stage right?!"

"Oh that, yeah that was me." I looked down.

"This is cool that we go to the same school. We should hangout." He smiled.

"Um sure!" I smiled.

"Cool you should give me your number so we can text." He said while we were walking down the hall. I think I saw him turn pink.

"Yeah, here."

So we exchanged numbers and walking towards the door. Wait. I hear something. Is someone crying?

"Do you here that? It's sounds like someone is crying in this closet."

We opened it. Oh it's Ariel. She's crying?

"Ariel? What's wrong?" I bent down to get her up.

"Nothings wrong." She said while sniffling.

"Ariel, I have known you for a long time. what's really wrong?"

"I don't want to talk about it." She looked up.

"Hey you can tell me."

"Okay well, I was about to meet Ross but then I saw him kissing...... Amanda." She started to cry again. Ross and Ariel been dating a while and it seemed like he cared for her. I guess I was wrong.

"Oohh it's okay. Shhh." I cooed.

"I thought he cared for me." She put her head on my shoulder.

"Ross? Amanda? Hmm, looks like he is her next victim." Niall said and Ariel and me looked at him confused.

"What are talking about? Victim?"

"Oh well Amanda thinks that having every guy in this school, that it would be great. I know cuz I was one of her boyfriends, unfortunately." He looked down.

"Oh I'm sorry. She is snake." I said hugging him.

"Thanks, but it's my fault. I should of known. She has this list of guys she hasn't dated and I guess Ross is next. But I have seen y'all two, y'all are cute together. But Amanda does that, she breaks up a couple, cuz she is jealous. That's what she did to Mary and H....." He said and cut himself off before saying the last person.

"Mary and who?" I said looking confused.

"Uh, nevermind. I got to go. I'll... Ill text you. Bye Jackie. Bye Ariel." He ran out the door.

"That was weird." She said while wiping her face.

"Yeah, but it's will be alright Ariel. you will see." I hugged her.
