"Hey Masaru!"

"Hiryur, long time to see," he said as he smiled into the phone, leaving to talk in another room.

"How ya been?" He asked gently, shutting the door.

The other man sighed, "Not great," he groaned, "one of the cows broke my damn arm, and Eijirou is struggling all by himself."

"Oh my goodness, are you ok?" He said, shocked. "Ya, I'm fine now, just so much harder to do anything!"

"Oh, I bet!"

"How's the family doing?" The other man asked.

"Mitsuki got a new job, so she's been on edge all week, and Katsuki... well..." he sighed.

"He's just... Like, you know when we were younger and we'd make fun of the 'city boys'?"

He heard the other man laugh through the phone. "Oh, god!"

"'Ya."

"Send him up here," Hiryur suggested. Masaru was taken aback "What?" "You heard me, you said that he's looking for a summer job, right? Eijirou and I could use the help, plus it'll get him back in the country!"

"For how long?" He asked, the idea seeming better and better in his mind.

"I don't know, let's say... till my arm gets better?"

"How long would that be exactly?"

"Bouta couple of months."

"Ya, sure! I'll tell Katsuki. " Masaru said his goodbyes and hung up the phone. He went up to Katsuki's room, knocking on the door before coming in.

Kat laid in his bed, headphones over his ears; phone in hand; clothes barely on; as one leg hung over the side of the bed. Kat pulled off one of his headphones looking at his dad. "What?" he snapped.

"Hey, I may have found you a summer job," Masaru said, his voice barely a whisper. "Oh ya, that's nice," he said, more interested in his phone than what his father had to say.

"Katsuki, this is important," his father gently lowered his son's phone, so he would actually look at him. Kat snarled, chewing on his tongue piercing. "What?!"

"I have a friend-" "Congratulations!" Kat cut him off, smirking to himself.

"He wants you to come work for him."

Kat glanced over to his father, and a very annoyed look on his face, "Why?"

"He broke his arm and needs some help, and you're looking for a job. Plus he's got a boy a few years older than you, but maybe you could be friends?"

"Ya, a job in the city, I ain't going away where else!" he spat.

"Katsuki, you're doing this job," he waited for a second, "or I'll make you pay rent."

"WHAT?!" he yelled, sitting up, "No no no! I ain't paying rent and I ain't going to that job!"

"I hate you..." he grumbled, looking out the window, plugging in his headphones, turning on anything to fill the silence.

Hitting the shuffle button seemed to betray him when a country song started playing. He hit the shuffle button again and was about to smash his phone when something sappy started to play.
