Hello and welcome to all, the meaning of terms which will be used for the 1 parts and prologue of the book will be stated here to avoid any confusion for the readers outside of the Philippines, the native terms may not necessarily be given an accurate transliteration in English by me the writer as no two languages are exactly alike to one another. Anito / Anitu - Spiritual Guide of an Alabay or Babaylan

Alabay - Rookie Apprentice of a Babaylan 

Babaylan -Defender or Warrior, Healer, Herbalist, Priestess, Sage or Seer

Punong Babaylan - Head of a group of Babaylans

Batok: Tattoo

Diwata -  Spiritual Deity or Deities

Datu - Chief Captain

Kalwulhatian - Sky or Skies

Kampilan or Espada - Sword

Mandirigma or Tagapagtanggol - Swordsman

Raja - Ruler of various lands and is above the Chief of Captains 

Umalagad - Ancestral Spirit/s

Uripon - Slave
