Life was full of misfortunes for little Rima. Each and every day was the same routine and if she didn't do what Mister said , she was beaten severely.Rima's childhood was a sad story. Her parents had died when she was just three.Since then, she had to leave home and lived a life of loneliness on the streets. When she was eight, she started working in a roadside restaurant.

All the men there were very rude and unkind but they employed her because the owner needed someone to help out during working hours.Rima was now nearly ten.She didn't know her exact age because no one had ever told her anything. The restaurant was not a place for such a little child. But she had no choice. She had to work to earn to survive on the streets.Rima used that little money to buy a cup of tea and just a cheap packet of biscuits. She slept on the footpaths, under the streetlights.during winter she had to fight the finger biting cold with just a thin rag blanket.
