Chapter 9: A Whole New World

While Quickachu was setting up his room upstairs of the fully completed house, Devmander was exploring the world. Outside the house everything had tall buildings and technology. Quickachu was then setting up a poster on his wall of the room. "Finally, my room is finally completed", Quickachu said in relief. Quickachu then layed down on his bed and took a rest. Devmander was back home with a map that he somehow got from the sky palace a few hours later. Quickachu then woke up and went downstairs to see Devmander with a map. "I just found out on this map that there is some desert and some purple and black land near us", Devmander said. "Devmander, we gotta be more careful since that day the village got attacked! We need someone to look after this village while we are gone", Quickachu worried. After they're conversation, Devmander and Quickachu went outside and placed down two carpets. "So where did you find these carpets", Quickachu questioned. "Remember the palace", Devmander replied. "Yeah", Quickachu said. "I've got those carpets from there. According to the library that was in the palace, the people there use to use flying carpets to transport across the world." "That reminds me of one of the stories the jester from the village told me about", Quickachu said. Devmander had a uncomfortable expression after hearing what Quickachu said. Few minutes later they were flying their own carpet to the desert. "A wHoLE NeW WooOoORLd", Quickachu was singing for the joke. Devmander then sighed and sang along with him. All of a sudden once there were near one of the pyramids, something shot both Devmander and Quickachu's carpets for them to crash down into the sand.
