I came home at 2 in the morning heading nip to our room
"Hey." I said coming into the room seeing him pacing
"Carlos you had me scared shitless I thought something happened to you !" Tk said coming up to me
I put my hands on the side of his face
"Hey.." I said looking in eyes
"Why didn't you answer your phone ?" He said
"I haven't been on it for a few hours sorry I should have texted you .." I said kissing his head
"Your shift ended 6 hours ago Carlos ." Tk said getting into bed as I followed
"I know I was working on a special case .." I said as he wrapped his arms around me
"What's it about ?"He asked kissing my head
I paused for sometime trying to think of what to tell him
"Carlos please don't lie to me .." he said
"Fine .. it's about that case the other day with the kids remember?"
"Yeah why ?"
"It was the same one that tried to pick up kids including Ellie at the park the other day .."
"Why didn't you tell me ?" He said
" I didn't want you to worry about it .."
"Carlos you know I respect everything you do plus if your on the case then I don't have to worry."
"Are you okay with me doing this ." I asked looking up at Tk
"Yeah Just please be home by 7 so I don't lose my shit again " Tk said
"Will do ." I said
