Chapter 4 : Truths & lies

"Actually, my identity is that I'm the second son of NJ Groups and my name is Kim Taehyung."

Y/N'S POV:

 I was so shocked when he revealed his identity. He is the real brother of Kim Namjoon with whom I'm gonna collaborate in person and what if he knows everything about that project.

[y/n is panicking because she is the type of person to get suspicious quickly. She doesn't want any third-wheeler in her life, especially with her work and Taehyung is being the third wheeler. She is collaborating with his brother and now she knows his brother so y'all know the triangle type!]

"So, would I think that from the beginning you knew who I was and bumped into me purposefully or it was a coincidence from the beginning!" I asked as it was not funny anymore between us.

"Actually, the real thing is that I didn't know you when I bumped into you that day, so it was not purposeful. When I told you that I have to go now that was when I was meeting with my brother [aka Kim Namjoon] and after meeting my brother he told me about you and then I realized that it would be better not to tell you about this rn and only to focus on the project for the time being. 

I was later involved in this project so I thought that it would be better to not meet you for some time, so I disappeared. Now our project is about to launch so I thought about having a chance to meet you again at the same place we met before". Taehyung explained to me but I was still confused about one thing.

"But why'd you think that it would be better to not to meet me? What made you think that?" I asked him seeing he was prepared for the questions I was about to ask. "That day we shared so many things between us, I knew that you don't like anyone peeping or meddling in your work so I decided not to meet you for a few months until the launch of this project" he said which made some sense in his explanation.

"So why did you come to meet me today?" I asked him after all the mess was solved. "Because I missed you so much!" he said which made me flustered for a moment.

"All of a sudden, why?" I asked. "Really, I was serious!" he said while pouting. "BTW have you eaten yet? It's almost lunch time" he added in his last sentence. "No, that's why I'm here sipping tea. Actually, I prefer to have a meal once a day, it can be either lunch or dinner!" I said while ! I was feeling something was not good.

 "Are you telling me that you only eat once a day?" he asked as I was able to sense some worriedness in his voice. "Umm, yeah but I prefer healthy drinks when I'm hungry, so yeah!" I said as I was now out of words to talk.

"Then, let's eat dinner together tonight, hmm? What do you say?" he said. "Umm, is it okay for you to eat with me, means don't you have something like to eat dinner with family only?" I asked as I was knowing something a little bit of it. "What do you mean, why are you not free today or not want to have dinner with me?" he asked as he was looking confused.

"No, that's not it! Umm, never mind I'll come" I said while sweeping my thoughts aside. "Then, meet you at your house tonight. I'll come pick you up" he stood up and kissed on my cheek making me blush so hard.
