Chapter 8: Suspected

The faces dissipated as Y/n disengaged his breathing style. Suddenly he was overwhelmed by a sense of pain and emptiness in his chest. He took sharp breaths as he fell to his knees. He grasped his chest as he wheezed.

The demon's body crawled desperately towards Tanjuko who was holding Nezuko. The demon's body stop just short of Tanjuko. As the demon's body disintegrated Tanjuko placed her hand it as she gave a sympathetic look.

Y/n was finally able to stand but still breathing heavily. He made his way to Tanjuko as the demon's body completely disintegrated. "What...... no thank you? Are you....... seriously ....... morning the demon .......who just until a few minutes ago....... said ...... he'd kill us all?"

"Thank you Y/n. It's just I can feel that he had regret for his actions as a demon. I won't ever hesitate to bring my blade down on any demon. But for those who feel despair and regret for the actions they took as a demon..... I will never disrespect them."

Y/n sighed "You are a really sweet girl Tanjuko." Suddenly out of nowhere Shinobu appeared out of nowhere coming straight for Nezuko. As she drew her sword Giyu landed in front of Nezuko slashing at Shinobu's blade.

She flipped over the four "oh my." Landing gracefully with a spin she turn to Giyu. "Why would you get in my way Tomioka? And after you told me we could never be friends with demons. I have to say, this kind of thing is exactly why no one likes you. Now Tomioka will please move?"

There was a pause before Giyu answered "I don't.... I don't think I'm disliked."

"Oh, dear I do...... apologize. You're only just hearing about this now them? I'm sorry I didn't mean for you to find out this way."

Giyu turned to Y/n. "Y/n, am I.... disliked?"

"Oh, crap!" he thought. "Umm..... well..... k....k...k.kinda."

"Oh girl," Shinobu called out to Tanjuko. "What you're protecting there is actually a demon. So please step aside before you get hurt."

"No your mistake! Well you're technically not mistaken.... but she's my sister! She's my little sister and-l

"Oh you poor girl," Shinobu said covering her mouth. "In that case I'll use a less painful toxin to end her."

"Shinobu no!"

"Shinobu yes."

"Can you move?" Giyu asked Tanjuko. "Even if it's painful you must get Nezuko out of here."

"Thank you Tomioka!" said Tanjuko as she scooped up the unconscious Nezuko and ran.

"I'm going with her!" said Y/n as he ran after her powering through the intense pain in his leg. He ran through the woods quickly catching up to Tanjuko who wasn't in any better shape than himself.

Suddenly Kanao leaped down from the trees kicking Tanjuko in the back. Causing her to drop Nezuko. She raised her sword as the unconscious Nezuko opened her eyes. Y/n block her sword. "Listen to me Kan-" he was cut off when she delivered a swift and powerful kick between his legs. He fell to his knees clutching his balls as the pain spread to his stomach.

"Get out of here Nezuko! Run away as fast you can! Don't get caught no matter what! Hurry!" Tanjuko screamed before getting kicked over the head by Kanao.

Y/n powered through the pain in his body to tackle Kanao. She hit his back with butt of her sword but he just grit his teeth through the pain. Suddenly he felt a sharp sting on his hand before he was kneed in the chest.

He tried to run after Kanao but was suddenly struck by an overwhelming feeling of nausea. He clutched his stomach before vomit erupted from his mouth. His veins and eyes began to bulge, he struggled to breath, his throat felt tight, he foamed from the mouth and his pale skin began breaking out in hives. "Oh crap! Wisteria!"
