"Have you heard that some guy just got called out by one of the delinquents from the higher grades?"

"Yeah, I heard."

"The guy they asked for is a pretty famous punk."

"Chifuyu Matsuno, right?"

I heard the lower grade students talking about the new student who is famous for beating up people. Many are scared of him, trying to avoid every eye and skin contact with him.

I got into the classroom, making my way to find a seat and surprisingly, he is my classmate. We stared at each other for seconds. I broke the eye contact first and sat infront of him.

A strong male perfume hit hard in my nostrils. It was a rather pleasant smell but it made me cough because of the strong aroma. His hair looks like a rooster's head.

What a weird hairstyle. Maybe if he changed it into a decent one he'll get every girl in this school.

His tie is loose and the upper buttons are open. He has a piercing on his left ear. Hands on his pockets as always. Making him look cocky. At least he isn't untidy, unlike the other delinquents.

Rumors said that even he is a delinquent, he still gets straight A's in every subject. So he is a good and a troublesome student.

A few minutes later, his friends surrounded him in a circle form and praised him for beating up the higher students. "You're so badass, Chifuyu! Not even older guys stand a chance against you," said one of his friends. "You could've ruled Japan you know!" continued his other friend.

"I don't care about that," Chifuyu straightforwardly said with a boring look on his face. "The higher year punks are nothing but lame. That's why I don't care about them."

As far as I have observed him, he is an assertive punk. He gets a little too aggressive when someone thinks highly of themselves. But I have a feeling he is good inside.

He maybe has his principles set on, to see him as the scary young punk. A boy who you do not want to mess with.

"Oi, Chifuyu!" shouted one of his friends. He immediately looked at him and continued, "I got big news, dude!"

His friend looking thrilled said to him that there is a guy in class 3 who got held back, he is currently repeating the 1st year.

His brows were in a shape of confusion and asked, "You can get held back in middle school?"

You, of course, have no interest in what they are talking about. Reading a shoujo manga as always. The quiet one who always observes everyone's move. He sighed and got up briskly.

"Time to stomp his ass before he acts like he owns the place!" he said and promptly head out of the class. 

When he finally arrived at class 3, he asked some students who Keisuke Baji is. A student told him that he is in the classroom, the one who looks like a nerd.

His hair tied up cleanly as if his hair was waxed, has glasses on, the tie is neatly made, and no buttons are open.

Chifuyu asked the student once again to confirm if that really is him. The student confirmed that he is Keisuke Baji.

He felt dumb for a second because he did not expect him to look like that. He shook off and went back to class.

A few hours had passed, it was already lunchtime. Chifuyu got up and went to class 3 again to see how Keisuke Baji was doing.

Baji stopped writing and looked up at him, "And you are?"

"Chifuyu Matsuno from class 1." said the boy sitting in front of him.
