You and Natasha had broken up, but decided to remain friends. You were starting to like this guy as the days went by. He was sweet, but of course he was no Natasha Romanoff. You loved her, but you both might as well been millions of miles apart.

As you sat in the lounge talking to Zack, the guy you liked, you had thought you were alone with him. You both were flirting, you more blushing than that. As he told you compliments, he smiled down at you, in the lovely way. Sure, you were affected by it and it made your heart pound, but when Natasha did it, it was something different.

You tried not to think about her, wanting her at the back of her mind. You couldn't think about it. You two were friends. Nothing more.

"You are so beautiful," he complimented you, the glint in his eyes making your heart thump.

"And you are so handsome," you giggled.

He smiled once again, and both of you started to lean in, eventually both of you placing a kiss on each others lips. The kiss wasn't bad, but once again, it wasn't Natasha's.

Ugh, you couldnt get her out of your head!

She needed to get out.

Zack and you said your goodbyes, him placing a quick peck on your lips before getting in the elevator, going down to the ground floor. You chuckled and made your way back to the lounge, and as you looked up, you flinched at Natasha's figure, staring at you, her face scrunched in anger.

"Oh my gosh!" You held your heart and took a deep breath, "Cher--Natasha..." you corrected yourself, "You scared me!"

She shook her head, "What was that?"

You went to the couch, sitting directly in front of her, "What was what?"

"That!" She stood up, shouting and pointing to the elevator, "With-with that g-guy!"

You furrowed your eyebrows and stood up as well, anger brewing up inside of you.

"Natasha, that's none of your business!" you shout back at her.

"But you were right there! Where everyone could see you! Seems like my buisness to me!"

"What?! Natasha, that's the stupidest shit I've ever heard in my whole entire life! That 'guy' and I might be together, okay? I-I love him," you lied.

You didn't love him. You loved her. But you couldn't let her win.

She scoffed.

"You might love him now, but you loved me first," she said before trying to walk away.

You ran up to her and grabbed her wrist, pulling her back.

"What the hell is that supposed to mean, Natasha?!"

Tears welled up in her eyes as she began to shout.

"Each day goes by and each night I cry! Somebody saw you with him last night," she quoted and chuckled dryly, "You told all of us to not worry about him and that you guys were just friends!"

"Natasha!" You shook your head as you yelled, "We were friends! I didn't do anything to you! You can't be mad!"

Nat shoved you off, making you trip and land on the couch, "You said you would never hurt me! But here we are! You know, you swore on ever star!"

Tears pricked your eyes, seeing the tears stream down her face and the pained expression on it, "Nat."

"How could you be so reckless with my heart?! A-And h-he must b-be perfect, O-Oh well," she wiped tears off her face frustratingly, even though they kept pouring out of her eyes, "I hope you both go to hell."

You stood up and shook you head, your tear stained face glistening in the light.

"You don't mean that," your voice broke at the end, looking in her eyes, only to find sadness and anger.

"You know," she sniffled and sat down at the other couch, "I still have the letter you wrote when you told me that I was the only girl you'd ever want in your life. A-And each day goes by and each night I cry, they all tell me they saw you with him last night..."

She stood back up and looked at you, wiping your tears with her thumb.

"You might love him now but you loved me first," she said before she walked away into her room.

No, you couldn't let her go. You love her, not him. You had to stop her.

But alas, she was gone. And you both were once again, millions if not billions miles apart.
