Eddie slowly stirs from his sleep, groaning slightly. He squints his eyes open to be met with Richies warm body, half of his body on top of the other boy. His breath hitches as he slowly pushes himself up, looking over to the bedside table. He read the time on his alarm clock, the digits reading 11:55. Eddie sighed slightly before rolling out of bed, standing up and stretching.

"What are you doing?" He hears from behind him, the voice sounding tired. He jumps slightly, turning around and smiling. "I was gonna go downstairs to make a call." He says, rubbing his face a little before starting to walk out of the room. He hears Richie move about a little before he closes his door slightly, walking downstairs quietly. He reaches the phone, dialling a number and waiting. "Hello?" Theres a female voice on the other line as Eddie sighs, before answering. "Hi ma, when are you going to be back?" He asks, hopping up on the counter to sit down. He hears moving about on the other side and some kissing noises and has to pull the phone away from his ear for a moment until he hears his mother laugh and start to talk again. "I'm leaving here in a couple of hours Eddie-bear, don't worry." She says, and before Eddie can answer a he's hung up on him. He jumps off the counter slightly, putting the phone back in its place.

"Can we go to the arcade today?" Eddie looks up at the voice from his place on the floor, where he's doodling. Richie's sat at his desk writing for the past hour while music was playing lowly on the radio. Eddie thought for a moment before getting up and going over to his  sock drawer. "What are you doing?" "Shut up Richie." He says, silencing the boy. He shifted through before he found a small jar, picking up while dipping the coins into his hand. "I have 7 quarters, how many games can we play with that?" He asks, looking over to the boy. Richie adjusted his glasses before smiling and shrugging, getting up.
