Midnight Frenzy

I gazed at the waves in the moonlit shore
Going away, coming back
Reminding me of us always levitating
Slowly rising then suddenly falling
The rose looked darker than our blood , our bond
While its thorns picked at the wounds that never healed
Slowly one at a time taking pleasure in my agony
While all I could do was hide my scars from the scavenger eyes
Looking for a single flaw in your portrait
And I kept covering them like an idiot while they kept consuming me
Inch by inch eating away.

The ocean seemed troubled today
Just like when you would cut my heart open
And I kept on pretending that I liked that pain
I became breathless as my veins kept losing their sweet poison
Slowly becoming numb
Just waiting for the eternal darkness to swallow them.

The moon looked down at a withering creature , me
Slowly writhing in agony of my lost heart
Waiting for someone to find me in the darkness
But who knew that you planned to introduce me on this stage
Just to leave my character speechless in the middle.

You told me no one can love me but she kept reminding me that I was lovable
You didn't realize that those words picked at my threads little by little
Untangling them from the reality
Until all that was left was a void looming over me
Consuming my hope like we consumed her
Little by little, inch by inch as I grew closer to the waves.

The irony of the moment
My heart cried out for something that never existed
Did she cried out like me when you stole their will and freedom.

Your promised neverland fall apart long before my eternity
Enchanting eternity while the fear of its possibilities ate near my feet
Gnawing through the roots to reduce us to ashes
And I desperately cringed to you while you used me to stay above water.

Greater good , lesser evil
They're just words you used to convince yourself
When I kept running back to you
You poisoned my brain while I kept closing your cuts with my skin.

When you do realize that your desires were causing the flaming chaos
Dont lock them up and throw them in the ocean
Coz the ocean is but simple like me
It'll keep returning them to you while the waves danced in the moonlight.
