When the darkness falls over the world
They all become silent, all but one
Her thoughts start racing as fast as the wind
She tries too hard but fails to keep them in
She wants to speak but her mind is a mess
Lost all her words in night's soft caress.

Her sweet loving eyes are screaming their story
The scenes she saw of their preoccupied glory
She learnt to lie she learnt to hide
She kept on floating between the two sides
The world slashes at her like a horrendous serpent's hiss
Yet she is gentle as a soft lover's kiss.

She laughs all day and cries at night
Her salty tears falling like stardust in a pale blue light
She found her essence in the dark walls of solitude
Her mind is at peace on that tranquil altitude
She is tired of her heart's unwavering pyromania
So she calls out for help to the muse of Urania...
