Tease, Toy and Trouble

Well.....I should have seen that coming.

Trevor excused himself shortly after Ava had stormed off and I muttered a quick see ya to Ryder before I followed him out of the cafeteria.

"Trevor wait up!" I was practically running after him and he was picking up his pace instead of slowing down. I started to feel pissed of and started to sprint after him.

People that had lingered in the hall looked on with fascination when I turned into some kind of lion chasing an antelope. My inner lion awoke and I jumped and pounced on him and brought him down. I almost felt the need to roar in satisfaction but decided I was being weird enough as it was.

I was certainly giving people a lot to talk about today and decided I should probably stop squishing Trevor to the ground while he was grunting and swearing underneath me.

"You should count yourself lucky I did not sink my teeth into your flesh mister antelope!" We looked at each other with frustration and anger before we both started to laugh until tears came out of our eyes and my stomach muscles started to hurt.

"Why did you keep going Trevor I don't understand whats wrong but it looks like you do, please just tell me what I did because I'am lost here." He could sense I was really trying to figure out what was going on and let out a sigh.

"Well we are in hall C you have science and biology here so your welcome and lets go somewhere private and I will tell you more about it." He stood up and held his hand out for me to stand up.

I brushed myself of and started following him down the hallway and wondered what was going on with my friends.

"OMG I should have known! Why didn't she just tell me!" I brushed my hand trough my hair and let out a huff of frustration before turning back to look at Trevor.

"It just happened I guess and maybe she is scared because she knows he doesn't even notice her like that. He has been looking at you since the day he got here and everyone else was just an extra in the show." He shrugged and I pushed his shoulders down in frustration.

"God stop the shrugging thing! What is it with the shrugging it is so irritating! Do you get special classes for it or something!" He glared at me and removed my hands from his shoulders and made me almost topple over.

"When you were locked away in your tower Ryder would come to us and ask where you were and if you were ok and if he could have your information. I was so annoyed with the daily Ryder invading's that I was going to give him everything he wanted plus your social security number and Facebook password out of irritation but I did not." I was getting irritated with mention of my Facebook password and decided I should change it when I got home.

"Ava would always shush me and just entertain him for a bit but leave him hanging. She knew that once he would have what he wanted she would not be on his radar anymore so she just played him like a fiddle and I think she hoped he would fall for her instead of you and since you did not want him she could have him."

I looked at him in wonder and understood everything completely.

"So when you came to school in his car with him and then got out and he declared you his girlfriend and then kissed you she freaked but you said it wasn't true and she felt better waiting for him to say hi or anything but he just ignored her. Then at lunch he just picked you up and you guys act like a couple that has been together for a while and she just flipped I guess." His shoulders were about to shrug but he made a weird move and it looked like he lost his neck somewhere and his head was resting on his shoulders.

He waved his hands weirdly and I let out a soft giggle before I nodded in understanding.

"Well...I should have seen that coming. I don't know whats going on with Ryder, he is suppose to keep me safe like a hired bodyguard but there is this thing between us and I don't know Trevor it's just, I don't know." I rubbed my face tiredly and Trevor gave me a small smile and squeezed my shoulder.

"It's fine Bo. If you like him then like him. Ava doesn't own him and if he doens't like her then that's that. She knows he doesn't so she just needs a moment to get over it and then it will be good."

I bit my lip and nodded my head at him but deep down inside I knew it would not be good. Ava would crush on guys quickly but once she was over them they were still off limits. But could she really hold it against me? I mean he did not like her and he did like me and I was sort of confused in the middle.

Trevor interrupted my thoughts "I have to go to class and you do to so lets go." I sighed and pushes my hair back in place and followed him to my next class lost in thought.

School was done in a blink of an eye and Ava had been ignoring and avoiding me like she was training to be invisible.

I was exhausted when Ryder reached me and started to play with my hair and annoy me by tickling me and poking me. I pushed his hand away once and when he kept going I just let him while I collected my things.

"Okay so whats wrong? You never just let me touch you without an insult or inflict of pain?" He pulled my chin up and saw the tired look in my eyes.

I pushed his hand away and let out a sigh while I looked back at him. "Just let it go Ryder. I really don't want to talk about it right now."

He looked me in the eye for a while before he nodded and put his arm around my shoulder and walked me out toward the exit.

People were staring and Ryder felt the need to wave to a few and I just shuffled along while lost in thought. I felt a soft pressure on my temple and turned to look up at Ryder. He gave me a soft smile and then pecked my lips softly and I just stood there looking at him with big eyes.

He chuckled and pulled me along towards the doors. We were about to walk trough when I noticed Ava standing in the hallway looking at Ryder and me with tears brimming her eyes. I was about to call out her name when she turned around and stormed off.

Ryder looked at our interaction in puzzlement and I was the one pulling him along now. I was done being here it made me feel like a horrible friend. He let me pull him along and I felt like I could breath again when we stepped outside.

We walked towards his car and I let go of his hand to get into the passenger seat. I pulled on the handle but the door was still locked and I looked up to give Ryder a open the F*cking door look.

"What is going on between you and Ava Bo?" I let out a deep sigh and banged my head on the top of his car before looking back up.

"She likes you Ryder and she is hurting because of this thing we have going on here." I said with a guilty voice while pointing between us.

His eyebrows crinkled together and he gave me a stern look.

"This us thing is just business Bo, and Ava is hot and all but if I had to choose I would still pick you over her so just tell her to get over herself and stop being so dramatic."

I could not believe the nerve of this jerk! I was fuming and let out a shriek before I punched the roof of his car and turned around while silently screaming while looking at my fist. For the love of oreo's that HURT!

I heard him yelling at me and I felt him coming closer to me so I just made a run for it while Ryder was chasing me trough the parking lot.

I really gave the people at school something to talk about, they could write a romance novel with all the drama happening today. I was about to make a break for it before to strong arms encircled my waist and a husky voice whispered in my ear "Got ya!".
