Jocelyn's POV

My eyes widened and I couldn't help but smile at her.

"I feel weird," Nadia said, tugging at the tight fabric around her waist.

"Well, you look beautiful," I laughed as I pulled a ribbon out of the drawer in my night stand.

I sat her down on the edge of the bed and kneeled behind her, grabbing a brush and gently pulling all of tangles out of her inky black hair. When I was done brushing it, I pulled it back into a tight french braid that still came down to her waist.

I stepped back to admire my work. I was extremely satsfied.

"Come on," I motioned for her to follow me out of my bedroom. "I'm going to introduce you to my family. They'll probably let you sleep in one of the extra rooms.

"Do we get dinner?" She asked as she jumped off of the bed.

"I don't know I'll ask." I giggled at her excitement.

"Human food!" She shouted. "I've been wanting to try it!"

"Do you eat fish?" I asked hesitantlly.

She blinked.

"Yes...what else would I eat?"

I breathed a sigh of relief.

"I have no idea. But it's good that you'll eat fish, that's mostly what we have here, with the beach being so close."

"I bet it tastes so much different here." She grinned.

"Yeah, here we actually cook it."

She looked extremely confused.

"What's...'cooking'?"

I laughed.

"You'll see."
