_ _ _ _Mommy?
It was a bright day, summer slapping the city right in the face- the grass on sidewalks were emerald, bushes and trees beginning to bear fruit.
Most residents of the of the city were outside, basking in the light of the morning sun. One of those who were not was a red haired lady, seated at her desk, furiously sketching in her notebook."Now, what should her name be? Sunny? No- she's a princess... Celeste sounds ni- OH! CELESTIA!"
The lady exclaimed, before blushing of embarrassment at the volume she had just spoken in."inside voice, Lauren, inside voice." Just then, a glimmer of light came from the book, catching the corner of the lady's eye.
A pink haired pony stepped out from her notebook and solidified on the table beside it.
The young pony lifted her eyes up and surveyed the creature infront of her. The mare made a slight but polite bow and spoke in a regal voice, "I am celestia, who are you?" "L-lauren. I-I just ske-" The lady gasped, her eyes widening.
Her drawing, her vision, her idea, had just come to life! It took awhile to regain her composure, but when she did, her focus returned to her sketch book, the young pony following her and cooing at another sketch. This sketch was of a blue pony with a horn and a pair of wings, yet to be named."Luna!"
Celestia called, trotting around the drawing, gaze fixed on the page. There was a shimmer around the outline, and she too, stepped out of the pages and looked at the other two creatures in the room. One of which was beaming at her excitedly while the other was staring in shock.
"H-hello?" The blue pony said in a timid voice, eyes darting around the room, surveying every inch of it before her teal eyes finally landed on Lauren.
"mommy?"
The red head's face twisted in confusion before the pink maned mare giggled and explained that she had created them and therefore was their mother in a sense.
Satisfied with the explanation, though how fantastical the scene was, the lady settled down at her desk and sketched out a few more ponies similar to the two. Beside them, she wrote small notes as the two ponies played with each other and laughed the day away.
- I hope you've enjoyed, I honestly don't know when the next one will be out -
