You wipe down your kitchen counter one last time and step back with a satisfied smile on your face. There. The entire apartment was cleaner than it had been in months. You take a deep breath and inhale the lemony scent of your air freshener, and the smile on your face widens. There was just something about a clean home that made your mind feel less cluttered.

You quickly take a look around the room to see if there's anything else you can spot out of place, maybe something you had missed before your guest arrives.

You were excited to spend some very much-needed one-on-one girl time with Miyoung. When you had shown up at her house in the middle of the night a few weeks ago, you realized how important she was to you. Her willingness to be there for you, especially when the two of you hadn't talked much, meant a lot, and it made you realize how much you wanted to rebuild your friendship with her. You were thankful she was even giving you the opportunity to do it.

Not seeing anything else to clean up, you put away your cleaning supplies and wander over to the couch before plopping down on it. You drum your fingers against your thigh before pulling out your phone and opening up Instagram. You didn't get on social media often, but right now, you were bored enough to do some mindless scrolling.

You take a quick glance at the pretty pictures in your feed as you scroll before you stumble across something weird. You backtrack a little and take a closer look at the post. It was some zoomed-in pattern that you couldn't really make out. You look up at the username and roll your eyes once you see it's Sehun. Of course, it was. Knowing him, he was spoiling something he probably wasn't supposed to.

You feel a pang in your chest at the thought of Sehun... You missed your friend and his sassy attitude, but a part of you was still upset with him. He had called and texted you a few times, especially when you first told him you needed space, but he eventually realized how serious you were taking this entire thing and backed off.

You knew that what happened wasn't just because of one guilty party. All four of you had a hand in the events that led to the breakup, especially you and Baekhyun, but you felt like a huge part of this mess was partly Sehun's fault. If he hadn't lied to you about what he saw and just told you that he was worried about Baekhyun hurting you and him being at fault for it, things would've been different. You would've been able to talk everything through with him, but instead, he just made your worries and insecurities grow... Everything he was worried about came true like a self-fulfilling prophecy...

However, in the past couple of weeks, you had begun to accept that what he did, he had done for you... in a weird sort of way. He didn't want you to get hurt, and even though his actions were what ultimately led to you being hurt, that wasn't his real intention.

In fact, in the past few weeks, you've had a lot of realizations. Not only were you learning to forgive Sehun and wanting to rebuild your friendship with Miyoung, but you realized you absolutely hated your job.

You hadn't noticed it before since you were usually able to distract yourself by texting Baekhyun and Sehun, but you weren't happy at that mundane job. Without the distraction of the two boys, you only really had work to focus on, and it nearly bored you to death, so you quit. Ever since, you've been toying with the idea of what you actually want to do with your life, and you were excited to get out there and explore some new opportunities.

Oh, there was also one more thing that you realized... You were still completely in love with Baekhyun. The relationship that you once thought was so "perfect" had flaws, but every relationship does... There was no such thing as a perfect relationship, and what you and Baekhyun had wasn't something you wanted to give up on. There were, obviously, some things that needed to be talked about, but you were happy with him. Truly happy. Even when you had to wait for months to see him because of tour, the thought that you would once again be together brought you joy.
