Tsunami opened her eyes looking around her. She realized she was in a hospital room. She tried to moved only to see a transfusion cord stuck in her wrist. She groaned at the headache as she recalled the past events. She remembered going bowling then the fight with Taiju Shiba and then...

"Cassie," she went to get out of bed only to have a pair of hands push her back. She looked up to see Hakkai. The boy blushed realizing what he was doing and pulled his hands away.

"S-Sorry, it's just, they asked me to keep an eye on you until you woke up," he said sitting back on the chair. Tsuna sighed.

"Who asked you that?" Hakkai scratched his nape.

"Um, that girl Kitsune, she said it's best to leave someone who can stop you," Tsuna rolled her eyes massaging her temples.

"What even happened?" She asked frustratedly.

"Well you passed out of blood loss and we had to take you here s-"

"No I mean, with your brother, what happened," Hakkai opened his mouth but closed it right after looking down. He clenched his hands.

"I'm sorry, this is all my fault," he said. He gritted his teeth as he said.

"If I hadn't asked you guys to come over this wouldn't have happened, I'm sorry," Tsuna looked over at the window.

"That's none of your fault, you just wanted friends over you couldn't have known, and if it weren't for you I'd be dead by now," Hakkai shook his own head.

"No you don't understand," she raised a brow in confusion.

"Taiju's always been stronger than Yuzuha and I but Yuzuha, she always tried to protect me and I couldn't stop our brother from hitting her, even when Taiju beat you down I couldn't react fast enough, and then," he took a deep breath.

"What? What happened," Hakkai clutched his pants.

"That girl Cassidy, she made a deal with Taiju, if he stopped beating Yuzuha and let us go then," he halted. Tsunami feared the rest of it. Yet she could already tell.

"Then she'd side with Taiju," Tsunami felt her world collapse. No. There was no way. Her sister wouldn't she couldn't have-
Tears started to pool at her eyes. She started shaking and breathing became harder and harder. Hakkai jumped up wrapping his arms around her.

"I'm sorry, Hatsune-san, I'm really sorry!" She closed her eyes tightly clutching his jacket.
Cassie looked down at the tea she held in her hands. It had been a while since she had had the chance to drink some. Usually her kind didn't need food but she still enjoyed small beverages like tea or even latte coffee.

"So?" She looked up at her highschool friend. Kokonoi stared right back at her.

"What?" He gave her a sceptical look.

"Why're you back?" He asked. She chuckled.

"Can't I visit my home without being questioned?" She asked. Koko laughed.

"Nice one, you and I know you're anything but human let alone japanese," she hummed. She looked around.

"Isn't Taiju going to join us?" She asked. Koko shrugged.

"Do you want him to?" She looked down.

"I'd just like to ask a few things, nothing too serious," Koko looked over at the door. They were alone in the Shiba house. Inupi and the rest were downstairs but Taiju had requested he stay here to make sure she didn't do anything shady.

"You know how he is, he doesn't express himself through other things than violence," Koko looked back at her.

"You of all people should know right?" She nodded.

"Yet I'm the one who knew the least about him in the end," she said. Koko sighed.

"Cass, you know he's not what people say-"

"I know, don't worry, I just," she sighed.

"I just wished he opened up to me about it," she said. She sipped her tea letting the warmth swarm her body.

"What about you Koko, how're you?" Koko shrugged.

"You're still saving up?" He looked at his hands.

"Koko," he sighed then looked at her. Cass held a saddened face.

"Akane is dead, she won't come back, you need to move forward," the young adult scoffed.

"Everybody keeps telling me the same thing, I'll move on when I'm ready-"

"You'll never be ready Koko," she stated.

"You won't so long as you decide to live in the past, I know you, you have morals yet you keep stomping them for money," he frowned at her. How could she always worry about others when she was the one in pain.

"That's rich coming from the girl who gave up her wings to stay with my boss," he laughed. Cass laughed too.

"If someone had told me an angel would be at the same point as me I'd have thought the person was insane yet here we are," he said. His smile fell into a serious look.

"Why did you even do that?" She smiled and look back at the now empty cup.

"My wings?" She asked.

"No I know why you gave up on that but why, why did you leave Joubouten for?" She chuckled.

"On the outside I'm a human being but on the inside I'm still an angel," she looked at him.

"And as an angel my duty is to help humans even the ones who seem to be a lost cause,"
