Happier Than Ever is the upcoming second studio album by American singer and songwriter Billie Eilish, scheduled to be released on July 30, 2021, by Darkroom and Interscope Records. It follows Eilish's 2019 debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?

Four singles preceded Happier Than Ever, namely "My Future", "Therefore I Am", "Your Power" and "Lost Cause", the first three of which entered the top 10 of the US Billboard Hot 100. To promote the album, Eilish will embark on the Happier Than Ever World Tour in 2022.

Billie Eilish released her debut studio album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, to critical and commercial success in 2019. It debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 and was certified 3× Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). It won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year, and along with its single, "Bad Guy" (2019), earned Eilish five Grammy Awards. Following its release, Eilish released the standalone single "Everything I Wanted" (2019), which peaked at number eight on the US Billboard Hot 100, and won the Grammy Award for Record of the Year.
In a January 2020 interview, Eilish stated she would begin working on her upcoming second studio album during the year.In March, Eilish's brother
Finneas O'Connell further confirmed this, stating that it would be "pretty pure in its intention" like Eilish's debut, with the two continuing to make the type of music they like to "play live" . She released the first single from the album, "My Future", on July 30, 2020, exactly one year before the album's scheduled release date, which debuted at number six on the Billboard Hot 100. Eilish released "Therefore I Am" as the album's second single on November 12, 2020.The single debuted at number 94 on the Billboard Hot 100, later rising to number two on the chart the next week, making it the fourth-greatest leap in the Hot 100's history with a vault of 92 positions. In January 2021, Eilish stated that the album "feels exactly how I want it to", with her not wanting to change a single thing about it. Her documentary film, Billie Eilish: The World's a Little Blurry, was released the following month. Later in February, Eilish announced the album would have 16 tracks. Two months later, she began hinting at the upcoming release of new music, and revealed the title Happier Than Ever in an Instagram post on April 26, 2021, which included a 15-second long snippet of the title track, which Eilish had previously teased in the documentary film.
On April 27, 2021, Eilish confirmed Happier Than Ever as the album title after billboards announcing the album and its release date reportedly began appearing in various cities. The album is scheduled to be released on
July 30, 2021. On April 28, Eilish announced that the third single, "Your Power", and its accompanying music video, would be released the next day, April 29. On June 1, Eilish announced that "Lost Cause" would be released as the fourth single with a music video on June 2.
