"Jimmy, I don't really want this to fall into anybody else's hands. I mean, yeah, A.D. knows a lot, but I find that we stick together better than the three of us would. it would be that awkward third-wheel thing." It had happened before and he wasn't wanting another part of it. "We can just try and do this on our own or get A.D. to do it by himself? I don't know what I'm saying anymo-" he stopped as his phone buzzed.

"A.D. knows almost as much as I do about hunting, Justin. He's been acting strange. I'm not entirely sure, but if this wasn't an issue, he'd be acting like his normal self. I think we shou-" Jimmy cut himself off, hearing the buzz of Justin's phone. Who on earth did he know, besides Jimmy, that would be up at this ungodly hour?

Justin pulled out his phone and looked to the name of the texter, looking to Jimmy. "So, um.. well, shit." Justin looked to Jimmy and pressed his lips together. "Seth said he got word his set was set on fire a few hours ago and they smelled sulfur. Jimmy, they're coming hard and fast, and they're starting with Late Night."

"I was in the area the whole time! I didn't smell anything..." Jimmy muttered.

"Listen, I'm going to call Dan real quick so he knows I won't be home tonight. You and I are going to the Late Night set. Maybe it was a small fire or something- I don't know. Jimmy, I'm- I'm scared."

"I know, Justin. I am, too." He nodded in sympathy. He knew how hard it was for Justin, considering the fact he was still learning.

Justin stood and walked away, turning away from Jimmy. He walked into the bathroom, leaving the host there.

James sighed lightly, looking down at his hands. The wedding band glinted in the fluorescent and neon light of the bar. On the inside, his ring was inscribed with "Non timebo mala" and a smaller devil's trap. He had it there in case he ever actually did get possessed by a demon... But it was unlikely to ever happen. As he fiddled with the button on the sleeve cuff of his plaid button-down, Jimmy noted a strange air wash over the establishment.

Justin looked around, back to Jimmy, then to his phone. He held it up to his ear, instantly sent to voicemail. "This is Danny! Leave a message and I'll get to you as soon as I can!" he heard. He smiled momentarily, then relayed his news, walking back over to his friend. "You feel that, too?"

"Yeah." The other replied, looking up to meet Justin's gaze. "Not a good sign, either... You think maybe they're after us? Most demons usually are." The brunet kept his voice down to a whisper. He wasn't sure if anything else in the area was a threat, but he wasn't taking chances.

"Or they're trying to take us out one by one, or testing to see who is weaker. I fear for Conan."

"Conan is the weakest when it comes to this stuff, I'm not gonna sugar coat it... But still... If you're right, which likely you are, Conan is out of state for the next couple of days... I think."

The other nodded and put his hands on the back of his chair. "Jess know you're out? Call her and we can head out. I just wanna get this all over with, ya know?"

"I left her a voicemail on the way here. She's probably up taking care of Franny and Winnie... That or asleep. Either way, she'll get the message. I also left a note on Higgins' desk to let him know I might not be back by this evening. We may have to do reruns... But I think this is more important, in all honesty." He looked at his phone, wondering if he should give anyone else a call.

"Cool. My house to get the car? You can park yours at my place."

"Sounds like a plan, man. I'll meet you there." James stood up, smiling a bit... He was glad to be back in business.

Justin drank down the rest of his water and walked to the front of the bar, grinning eagerly back to Jimmy before walking out and popping his collar against the cold. He headed to his car and started for home.

Jimmy ordered a bottle and paid before leaving the establishment. He would drink it later, when he wasn't driving. It wouldn't be long before he would be at Justin's, so he sat there a moment, pulling out his phone and making a random tweet. He sometimes did that, anyway. Then, after giving the blond a head start, he drove off.
