Rollerblading Around Town| 2

Rylan's POV

I woke up in the morning to the bright sun shining on her face, she grabbed a piece of toast and headed out the door.  Today she was going to meet Adam, Mcgill, and Larsson to go rollerblading around town because they didn't have practice.  

I tied up my blades and skated to Adam's house and rang on the doorbell.  I waited a bit until Mr. Banks answered the door, I was always a little scared of Mr. Banks because he seemed a little intimidating and scary.  But he was really nice once he warmed up to you.

" Hello Rylan what can I help you with?" He asked her while leaning on the side of the door frame.

" Hello Mr. Banks, I was wondering if Adam could come out we are supposed to go rollerblading together today," I said while twiddling my thumbs.

" Oh yes I'll grab him for you, just give one moment," His dad said closing the door to grab Adam.

I waited for a little bit just sitting on their porch until I heard the door swing open behind me.  I whipped my head around to see Adam holding his rollerblades in his hands.  He sat down beside me and started to tie them up.

" You know you take a very long time to get ready for a guy," I said to him.  He gave me a quick glare then looked back down to tie his blades.  " Wow, no response so kind to me."

" Alright don't even get me started on how long I take, you take 2 hours just to get ready in the morning.  I only took five minutes, you're just impatient,"  Adam said too me.  

My mouth just hung open in an O shape, but he was right I wasn't that patient with people especially Adam.  

Once Adam had finished tying his rollerblades we both headed off to meet Mcgill and Larsson at the diner.  Adam and I were racing each other to see who could get there faster and they both tied.  When we got there Mcgill and Larsson were already waiting for us in the front of the diner.

" Took you two long enough, I thought would die, you guys took so long," Larsson said while imitating someone dying.

" Haha very funny Larsson now let's go, we aren't going to have fun just by standing here." I said while indicating on them to follow me.

After a little while of  rollerblading around town the four of us saw District 5 and decided to go bother them.

We all circled the team and Larsson stole a magazine from one fat kid one the team.

" Hi girls!" Larsson said with the rest of us stopping beside him.  Mcgill beside Larsson, Adam beside Mcgill, and me beside Adam.

Then Mcgill poped and said in a baby voice, " Does your mommy know you have that?" While all of us started to circle around them.  

Larsson then added on to it saying, " Nah she's busy with the mailman."

I couldn't help but laugh at the things that they were saying to District 5.  I knew that they weren't the nicest things to say but they were still funny.

" That'll make great bathroom reading!" Adam said giving me a fist pump and flashing a small smile to me.

This fat kid starts to get mad real fast and says, " That's mine you jerk! I found it."

" You don't even know what to do with it wuss-breath!" I said while getting another fist pump from Adam.

Then the little kid who's like two feet tall whispered something into the fat kids ear.  I'm pretty sure he said something like, " You gonna let her call you wuss-breath?"

He then yelled " NO!" and started to try and tackle me but Adam, Larsson, and Mcgill tried to step in to try and stop him.  And it worked they shoved him into a pile of trash bags and one fell on top of him.  I thanked them and gave them a few small high fives, and then I skated to him and crouched down to the kids level to see how he was.

" You alright there bud, wait you got a little something on ya," I then poured an open trash bag on him, " Whopps my hand slipped."  The rest of his team were giving a few "Ohhhs!" While I just gave the three boys fist pumps.  We then skated to a little corner in the alley to face District 5.

" Come on, you want some more?" Mcgill said throwing his hands up to try and make them come closer to us.

Then out of no where I feel someone grab the back of my Hawks jacket while lifting me up off the ground.  

" Hey put me down you son of a bitch, PUT ME DOWN NOW!" I screamed while kicking my legs.

" Hey man put her down, you could hurt her!" Adam said to the guy holding me up.

Then the next I know I was thrown into the same pile of trash that the fat was thrown into.  Seconds later I feel Mcgill, Larsson, and Adam being thrown ontop of me.  

" Get up you piece of shit," I say to Mcgill who was thrown right on me that I couldn't get up.  He got up really fast, I took a quick look at the guy that threw me and he gave a big grumble.  

" Holy shit!" I scream while getting up and skating away with the rest of the boys.

" That guy was huge." I start telling Larsson, Mcgill, and Adam while taking a sip of my milkshake.  " I swear he could be in the WWE he's that big, no joke."  All of the boys laughed at my joke, but I wasn't really joking though.   " Hey, does anyone know who that guy was though like his name or something?"

" Nope, I don't know him," Larsson said shoving a bunch of french fries in his mouth, almost choking on them.  

" Ok, Larsson you are going to choke one day and it's not going to be pretty.  Just giving you a heads up," I told him taking another sip of my milkshake.  He just looked at me and gave me the finger, then proceeded to continue eating his fries.

" Hey man she's not wrong you know," Adam said looking at him then flashing a quick smile at me, then quickly at the ground to avoid eye contact with Larsson.

" Hahaha, you're so funny Banks," Larsson said in a sarcastic tone eyeing him down.

I just rolled my eyes at them and continued to finish my milkshake.  

" Hey guys do you wanna go to the arena for a bit just to fool around before our next game?" Mcgill asked us.

" Nah I can't, I got  loads of homework to do, sorry man maybe next time." I told him returning my drink to the counter.

" Same I also have a lot of homework to do aswell, but yeah maybe another time." Adam said while re-tying his skates.

" Alright, well see you guys tomorrow for our next game!" Mcgill said as me and  Adam were leaving.

Mcgill's POV

" You know someday Adam's gotta tell Rylan that he likes her, it's getting a bit annoying at this point." I told Larsson.

" Yeah you're right, it is getting a bit annoying.  But they're best friends and I'm pretty sure he doesn't want to ruin their friendship that they have with each other.  They are literally at each other's house 24/7 and are a dynamic duo on the ice, also what would there parents think as well?" Larsson told me.  I never knew how much Larsson knew about what Rylan and Adam do with each other but oh well.
