"Head and Heart" - Joel Corry & MNEK

My heart is certain
It's more than a crush
'Cause I'm frozen in motion
And my head tells me to stop

"I'm so sorry! A-Are you hurt?" A female voice stuttered in concern.

"Hey!" Wu called out. As he turned around, his face softened as he met eyes with a beautiful, young teenage girl.

She had glasses and long, brown hair tied into a ponytail. Her outfit consisted of a beige sweater with a green scarf and soft green pants. Wu couldn't help but stare at her as his face felt warm and he can hear his heartbeat.

Is this what true love feels like?

"Um no uh, I'm okay." The blonde teenager assured her while attempting to get himself up.

"Are you sure?" The girl walked closer to him but she stopped after Wu quickly scrambled to his feet.

"Uh yeah I-I-I wasn't looking where I was going but I'm great, actually." He smiled shyly.

"Oh, thank goodness." The young female sighed in relief as she stretched her hand out. Wu smiled as he placed his hand in hers.

"Oh, I'm Misako by the way." The brunette introduced herself while shaking Wu's hand. He didn't want to make this situation more awkward than it already was, so he mimicked her action.

"I'm Wu," the male teenager smiled.

That name sounds familiar  Misako thought. She gasped in shock after realizing who the person in front of her was.

"You're the First Spinjitzu Master's son! I'm so sorry for running into you I-"

"N-no I'm fine everything is good!" Wu reassured her.

A few moments of silence fell between the two as they stared into each other's eyes, not knowing when to speak.

"Uh...this is awkward," he giggled nervously. "Not you're awkward but just cause we're...I mean awkward...you're gorgeous..wait what?"

Misako couldn't help but blush as she heard those words. Did he just call her gorgeous? Maybe he only said that because he's nervous and didn't know what else to say.

Either  way, Misako regained composure and took a deep breath. "I'd like to formally apologize once again for running into the son of the First Spinjitzu Master....and....for every moment after."

"N-no it's fine, I-I'm not that son. I mean if you meant my brother Garmadon it would be yeeesh...you know." Wu used hand gestures to emphasize his point.

"But, lucky you...it's just me." He smiled.

Misako chuckled. "Just you?"

Wu was too lost in her eyes to respond. He visualized the perfect life with Misako, nothing that included cold, dark secrets. But he didn't want to lose his brother, maybe Garmadon will open up more once he meets her.

Garmadon

"The ceremony," Wu mumbled, now facing reality. "I-I-I better go I have to go I-I better go uh, bye!" Wu stuttered then rushed off to the monastery.

Misako gazed where he previously stood with a smile on her face.

A/N: Another chapter done! Originally, I was going to have one of the elemental masters play as Hans but then I thought about it and was like "No wait, I can make it work with Misako. I got this!" Thank you @Loyalty_Setsuko so much for offering the idea of Misako, I feel like she's an excellent addition to the story. I hope you all enjoyed the chapter, bye!💜💜💜
