Y/n's POV

Y/n: Ethan! Ethan!

I shake my sleeping husband as he groan in annoyance.

Ethan: Y/n, it's 3 in the morning what's so important that it couldn't wait?

Y/n: She's alive!

Ethan: She?

Y/n: Mia!

I said excitedly.

Ethan: And how do you know that?

Y/n: She send me an email.

I showed him the email on my phone.

Ethan: Y/n... it might be a prank.

Y/n: I know. So that's why I'm going to find out.

Ethan: Or, we can just call the cops and let them handle it.

Y/n: Ethan, sometimes the easy way is not the right way. But you don't have to come I can go by myself.

Ethan: No! I'm coming. There's no way I'm making you go alone.

Y/n: But.. What about your work?

Ethan: We can always go in the afternoon.

Y/n: I guess...

Ethan gave me a kiss.

Ethan: Good. So can we go back to bed I'm so tired.

Are you sure this is the place?" Ethan asked as he came out of the car. I didn't answer him since we argued on the way here. I started walking until I saw a gate. I went to open it but it was locked. I then saw a path so I walk through there with Ethan following behind. He was trying to talk to me but I didn't respond to him. I then saw a man so I grab Ethan's hand and we hid in the bushes as the man walked somewhere else so I went to see where he went but there is no sign of him.

Ethan: Who was that?

Y/n: I don't know but that was weird.

Ethan: Oh my gosh I didn't know you can talk.

I just rolled my eyes.

Ethan: Look I'm sorry about that whole argument we had.

I smiled and hug him and told him that I forgive him. Then we went back to walking until we saw a house and a bag I went to look in the bag and saw Mia's driver's license.

This must be Mia's bag.

I showed the bag to Ethan and we went into the house. It was dark but luckily I had a flashlight.

Ethan: I didn't know you brought a flashlight.

Y/n: Well you know me always prepared.

Ethan laughed and we started walking through the house. I have to admit this house disgusts me especially the kitchen. We then went upstairs where we saw nothing, in particular, except a button that said "stairs" but it wasn't responding. We then found a VHS tape.

There was something written on it so I took it up and it says "Derelict House Footage"
