"Welcome, Earth Peasants,"
I blink, looking up at the monitors. It's been a while since I've seen a fully grown man, even if his skin is blue.
He smirks down at us. "Ah...perhaps that word doesn't quite translate. I am Anith. I'm from a planet a few galaxies over. We've come, with...permission from your government, to invite you to our planet."
I look over at my friend who gasps. "What? Is this an invasion," she grabs my hand. "Roxanne, this is scary."
"Shh...they said they came with permission. Let's just listen." I assure her.
She squeezes my hand softly, and we keep watching the broadcast.
"Our planet is called Iohiri 653, and we lack something Earth has an abundance of women. Let's be clear, this isn't a takeover. It is an invitation."
The man on the screen smiled, his long white hair, falling on his face as he cocked his head, opening his hands.
"You are welcome, women of earth. Your government has allowed us to send a few of our bravest, noblest warriors to your planet."
"If any of you shall find them desirable, seek him! We will be here for two years. At the end of those two years, we will go home, and any of you who wish to join, may. There are applications at your local government offices to engage in this...shall we say matchmaking?"
Lola looked at me in concern. "This can't be real. I mean...I knew we had a shortage of men but...to go to another planet..."
A shortage? At 26 years old, I've seen approximately 4 grown men in my lifetime.
I look up. Space huh? All I have to do is put up with an alien man for two years?
I smirk. How bad could it be?

"Hello," I look up at the sound of a reverberating voice. He has an accent. It's unplaceable, but I swear I've heard it before-
"I'm Anith. You are...Roxanne, yes?"
I blink. "You...were on TV."
I look up at his...very large structure, swallowing roughly. His skin is light blue. Oddly, it suits him. His hair is so long. It's tied up into a ponytail but it's so long.
Pretty. He's pretty.
He's huge.
He grins, revealing a dimple on his cheek. "I was. I'm Anith. Let's just say I'm a representative." He grinned.
"How are you this sunrise?"
