In New Orleans there's a house, and with this house comes a long list of owners dated back to 1800. The original owner's daughter, Ella Blyth, went missing after being alone in her room with a slave accused of witchcraft that had yet to be charged with the crime. After Ella's disappearance, her father had sold the house with all the family's belongings without explanation. Now present day, the house was sold again to an unexpecting girl named Camille Daniels. Camille had bought the house fully furnished for relatively cheap, due to the reputation it acquired for the locals about it being haunted.

Buzz, buzz, buzz. "Hey mom, what's up?"

"Just calling to see how you are settling in, how's the unpacking going?"

"I actually haven't started yet, I just got here and wanted to look at the stuff that came with the place."

"That sounds fun, send pictures if you find anything cool."

"I will, I'm going to get started, love you."

"Love you too, Camille." click.

Camille started walking through the house finding pictures and furniture in each room-nothing special until the last room. The door resisted opening, but after pulling the handle with force, it slowly creaked open to reveal nothing but a covered mirror and note that read: "if you find this mirror than you have bought the house... Leave or be killed by the mirror girl." Camille decided to ignore the note thinking it was just rambling from a previous resident who had gone mad, so she moved it into the bedroom she had claimed to be hers. Surprisingly, it was the only mirror in the house; the bathroom was even absent of one. Again, she ignored the unsettling feeling that came over her and went on to clean out the house of broken furniture and other things until night fall when she declared it was time for bed. While getting ready to sleep she felt like someone was watching her, and it compelled her to look at the mirror, but all she saw was her reflection.

It was hours later when she heard the first noise, quiet but still audible; it was knocking against glass.

Tink, tink tink.

Crawling out of bed she groaned and listened to the sound. After a few minutes she realized it was soft knocking against glass and moved over to the window to find no one there, so she ignored the sound and went to bed. The next day she repeated her activities of cleaning the house-the knocking long forgotten, until it returned that later that evening.

Night after night she had heard the knocking and had the sensation that she wasn't alone, but everywhere she looked nothing was there. No person, no tree branch, no animal. Just nothing.

When Camille would hear the noise again she would go through a process of checking every window. Bedroom window: Clear

Living room window: Nothing

Kitchen: Nada

Front door wind: Again nothing

She walked back to her bedroom ignoring the sound, however it became aggressive, so she went through her procedure for a second time that night still, no result. The sound kept getting louder and the feeling of being watched was so intense it felt like someone was touching her. She was compelled to look at the mirror and when she did, she saw a decaying girl drag a hand up to her shoulder. Scared, Camille screamed and turned around to see that no one there. She quickly got out of view from the mirror and the uneasy feeling was gone, but only for a moment, for she remembered the note from a previous owner. She walked toward the mirror to see the girl who was decaying. The mirror girl breathed onto the cool glass and wrote say my name.

"Well, what is it?" Camille dumbly asked the girl who then responded by drawing Ella on the mirror.

"Ella?" "Ella" Blyth "Ella Blyth."

With the calling of her name Ella reached out and grabbed Camille by the throat bringing her into the mirror sealing her fate. The house would be sold again, and the locals would have another story to tell about the house that never stays sold.
