"So where are you taking me Lance?" Rachel giggled. "Something that you'll recognize." I said while covering her eyes. "I hope it'll be romantic!" I just laughed, then slowly uncovered her eyes. Her smile faded with only confusion left on her face. "Something's wrong, this is my house, what are you doing?" Rachel cried out with confusion. "I'm breaking up with you." I sighed. I could hear her heart shattering into pieces from the inside. Her memories about us being replayed over and over. I can see her tears swelling up in her eyes. "Wait no. You can't. It's just not right. After all what we've been through.. And you wanna make this worse? I helped you, stuck by your side even though you tried to push me away. And you're telling me you're leaving. But you said you loved me... Lance." I didn't stick around, her voice faded as I walked away to my car. She grabbed my arm and turned my face towards hers. "Look at me!" She cried out. I looked straight into her face to get over it. Her light brown eyes filled with tears and the reflection of my face in her eyes. I felt her pain, sorrow. No, I couldn't say sorry to her. She lied, cheated, it's over. "Don-don't you lov-love me?" She stuttered, putting both of her hands on my cheeks. My face was getting hot, I grabbed tight onto her hands pulling it away from my cheeks before she could feel the warmth. "I don't love you." I looked straight into her eyes, hoping she'll get the clue that I was being serious. She stood there and stared at me with tears running down her cheeks, I couldn't stick around anymore in this bullshit before things get worse. So I left and drove off into the night. I looked back at her with the mirror that was beside my car. There she stood, in the middle of the empty road looking back on me wishing I'll turn back. Not this time, not this time I won't.
