We pull up into a small cabin on the side of cliff. It was a yellow house that was shaped like a triangle. It had lots of windows so you could see Colorado Springs below us. "How high are we?" Jonah asked while getting out of the car. "About 2,000 ft up." She told us. "That's nothing compared to were we live." Jonah said giggling. "Oh really? How high up do you live?" She asked grabbing our stuff out of the trunk. "We live on the mountain behind pikes peak. And we're about 10,000 ft off the ground." He told her proud fully. She looked at him with wide eyes. "Wow, that is high!" She exclaimed. We started walking up the deck of the large building. When we got to the door, we opened it up and their was a huge living room. On one side of the room there was stairs. On the other side the was stairs too. Then in the middle was a couch and a rug with a tv. Two boys sat on the couch and we're watching spongebob. Mrs. Kendra walked over to the two boys on the couch and turned off the tv. They looked at her mad. "I need to have an announcement, and afterword, you can have this back, alright?" She asked them. They both nodded their heads. She walked back over to us and started to yell. "Everyone, come downstairs, our guests are here!" She yelled. Just then a few minutes later about 10 girls came running down the stairs. About 10 guys followed closely behind them. When everyone was here, she began to speak. "This is Samantha and Jonah. They are going to be staying here until we find their mother. You are to treat them nicely. Jessica and Stacy, you are to show Samantha around the house and help her settle into your room. Jackson and Henry, you are to show him to your room and show him around the house too. Make sure they know the rules too. Off you go!" She said. All the boys and girls ran upstairs except 4 people. A girl with curly black hair and tan skin stepped forward. "I'm Stacy and this is my friend Jessica." She said. I watched as the blonde haired girl waved at me. I'm guessing that was Jessica. Just then a boy stepped forward. "I'm Jackson, but call me Jack, and this is Henry. He a little bit shy though." the brown haired boy said. Jackson had short brown hair and a piercing in his left ear. Jonah said goodbye to me and left upstairs with the two boys. "So you ready to go see our room?" Asked Stacy. I nodded my head and followed the girls up the stairs. "How come their are to sets of stairs?" I asked them. "It's because the boys rooms are over there on the left side of the house, the right side of the house are the girls rooms. But the back hallway combines both genders rooms. And that's were we live." Said Jessica. We walked down the hallway until we turned down another hallway. We walked up to the first door on the right and walked in. It was a medium sized room. Instead of a wall on the back room, the was a giant window that you could see the massive city below us. In the corner of the room was two bunk beds. "The bottom bunk is yours. You can chose which bunk you want." Stacy told me. I walked over to the bunk bed that was the closest to the window. "Welcome bunk bed partner." Said Jessica. "Thanks, I guess" I told her. She smiled and got on top of her bed. "So what happened to your parents?" Jessica asked. "Jessica! She might not want to talk about it!" Stacy yelled. "No it's fine, I can tell you as long as you tell me what happened to yours." I said while unpacking my clothes and putting it in the dresser. They both looked at each other and nodded their heads. "My dad left me and my brother when I was little, and my mother left us home one day so the she could go get groceries. And well....." I said while tears started to form in my eyes. I sat on my bed and whipped them away. "What happened?" Asked Stacy, sitting down next to me on my bed. "She never came back." I told her. I was full on crying now. Stacy hugged me and I sobbed into her shoulder. After a while I calmed down. "My parents both died in a plane crash. It's been 7 years since they died. They still haven't found their plane yet, it's somewhere out in the ocean. " Stacy told me. "I'm sorry about that." I told her. A small smile appeared on her face. "I am too. But hey, I'm here so I can start over, have a new family. " She said while rubbing my back. "My mom died when I was little, from cancer. I had an older sister named Vanessa. When we found out that she died, my dad was angry. He yelled at us that it was all our faults. I yelled back at him that it was not our fault, it was the disease she had. He took out his gun and got ready to shoot me. Vanessa jumped in front of the gun, and got shot instead. I ran outside and as far as I possibly could. I ended up at a police station, and told them everything that happened. They found my dad and arrested him. A few days after they arrested him, I ended up here." Jessica finished. "I'm so sorry Jessica." I told her. She was walking down the ladder. When she got to the bottom, she walked over and sat on my bed on the other side of me. "Ya, I am too." She said. We got interrupted when a boy walked in the room. He had black hair and tan skin. "Hey, Samantha you have a visitor here." He told us. "Ok thanks." I said I got up and followed the boy. As we were walking down the hallway, he started to talk. "Hi I'm Jake." He told me. "Hi Jake, I'm Samantha. " I told him. He chuckled. "Ya I already know that." He told me. I feel a blush creep up onto my face. We walked down the stairs and there sitting on the couch is the last person I wanted to see. It was.......
