This is the story of how my normal, boring, close to average life became extraordinary. My story began at about 9:00 at night, me staring up at the full moon, my dark brown eyes full with wonder, my greatest lust to fly above the trees, my hands skimming the clouds as I breathed in the air. As I imagined this pathetic daydream I knew would never come true, I twirled my overly curly hair in my tan fingers. My friends told me that my hair was so pretty, golden chesnuty ringlets, always held back by a bobby pin on the right side. Caught in my imaginary land, I may never have snapped out unless I heard a noise at the window. I willed my breath to stop, listening with all intentions. Then I heard it again. A rapid tapping noise, growing louder. My heart racing at full speed. I grabbed a flashlight and peered out the window. I looked down at the uneven landscape, of course they had to build our house behind a large hill. Unless you start up the hill, the house is hidden at an angle, so that all you can see is the roof of the house, and the willow tree from down in town. I looked up into the branches of the willow tree, which came quite close to my window. Before I could peer closer into the branches, a boy jumped at me popping up in my face. I screamed, my heart beating in a steady very fast rythym. The boy, clinging to the branches, laughed. He swung himself into my room and I screamed. For all i knew, he could have been a rapist. A cute, blond rapist, but a rapist none the less. My brother came running in, no doubt hearing my screams. Once he saw the boy, his expression of worry immediatedly turning into exitement "Dude! You finally made it! C'mon, lemme show you around." I was very confused. Our parents wont let us have parties yet, as we just moved into the two story house six months ago, and had only been in school two months. Now November, my brother, Antonio, had made friends with practically the entire school and was now very popular. I had only a little clique of about 7 girls. I knew my brother was having a party because I could hear people pressing the doorbell and the boys rushing down to get it. I couldnt believe my brother would take asvantage of our parenys being gone. Nope. Never mind. I could TOTALLY believe that.
