Crazy Colours

By PJ Perry

.

The fog surrounds me

The swirling drowns me

Yet I can breathe

Is this a dream?

That turns to steam

The whiteness seethes

It boils away

No longer spray

Supplanted black

No light can reach

To smite and bleach

Can darkness crack?

And yet it does

Red tidal flood

Deep crimson blood

Become a fuzz

And then I gaze

Red bubbled haze

What is this place?

That drips to blue

It seems untrue

And as my face

Begins to mellow

All turns to yellow

Green spikes blink

Till that's all I see

Driving me crazy

Rolls into pink

I am I in hell?

Or a padded cell!
