CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE:
A FEW MILLION

WHEN THEY MANAGED TO FIND Jasper Sitwell and locate him, Sam was the one to call the man, talk to him, with Natasha pointing a laser pointer at the man before her was forced into the car where Steve and Olivia had been patiently waiting. And then, they were dragging Jasper to a roof top, Steve throwing him across it when they made it up there. Steve advanced towards him with Natasha and Olivia following closely behind.

"Tell me about Zola's algorithm," Steve demanded.

"Never heard of it." Jasper responded and Olivia scoffed.

"What were you doing on the Lemurian Star?" Olivia asked with a growl.

"I was throwing up. I got seasick." He answered. Steve picks Jasper up by his shirt and pushes him to the edge of the roof and Jasper just smiles.

"Is this little display meant to insinuate that you're gonna throw me off the roof? Because it's really not your style, Rogers."

"You're right. It's not." He pats the mans shoulders, nodding his head. "It's theirs." Both Natasha and Olivia ran to him and kicked him over the edge.

"Oh, what about that girl from accounting, Laura. . ." Natasha started.

"Lilian." Steve corrected. "Lip piercing, right?"

"Oh, yeah." Olivia hummed. "She's cute."

"Yeah. . . I'm not ready for that."

The two females shared a smirk with one another as Sam fly's up in his falcon suit with Jasper before dropping him back onto the roof. They all walk toward him and he just puts his hands up in surrender.

"Zola's algorithm is a program for choosing insights target's!" Jasper exclaims.

     "What targets?" Steve demanded.

"You! A TV anchor in Cairo, the Undersecretary of Defense, a high school valedictorian in Iowa city. Bruce Banner, Stephen Strange, anyone who's a threat to HYDRA! Now, or in the future." Jasper answered, his voice shaking in fear.

"The future? How could it know?" Steve asked, furrowing his eyebrows.

"How could it not? The 21st century is a digital book. Zola taught HYDRA how to read it." Steve, Olivia, and Natasha look at him with confused expressions. "Your bank records, medical histories, voting patterns, e-mails, phone calls, your damn SAT scores. Zola's algorithm evaluates people's past to predict their future."

     "And what then?" Steve asked.

"Oh my god, Pierce is going to kill me."

"And what then?" Olivia snapped in irritation, glaring dangerously at him.
