Part One | A Strange New World

Location: Hyperion, Honkai Impact 3rd.

"Where...am i?"

Aether asked himself as he got up from the floor, this didn't look like any place he had been to before. He assessed his surroundings, it appeared that he was in some kind of bedroom or dormitory, but he knew this wasn't Teyvat, it was too modern-looking to be Teyvat.

Almost immediately after Aether left the room, he was greeted by a white-haired girl who wore two large braids.

"Oh, Hi! You must be the guy we found on the side of the road, my name's Kiana Kaslana!." She introduced herself.

"Oh...right-" the traveler remembered that he had probably fallen asleep for a day or two after originally arriving in this world, he felt slightly embarrassed about it too.

"The name's Aether...nice to meet you."

"Sorry, im not...from here, do you know if you've seen anyone else that wears...odd clothing around here?" Aether asked.

"Oh, yeah! They're over there if you wanna meet them, we found a some other people that were with you-" Kiana answered, gesturing towards Lumine, Venti and Zhongli, who had somehow crossed into this world with him.

"Thank you!" The traveler said, running towards the familiar faces of his friends.

"Venti, Zhongli! What are you doing here?" He asked abruptly as he stopped by the group.

"To be honest, I don't really know. We just kinda...got sucked in with you two when you left somehow." The bard said, scratching his head in confusion.

"Likewise, I am not sure how I appeared here either." Zhongli agreed, nodding at Venti.

"Well, I guess we're here now..let's assess what exactly we're dealing with before going back to Teyvat." Aether's sister, Lumine suggested, while the twin travelers were used to traveling through worlds, they didn't come to this one on purpose, witch made it even more confusing.

Suddenly, a loud bang could be heard at the back of the ship, alerting everyone inside and interrupting Aether's conversation.

"Principal Theresa, what happened?!" A girl with long, purple hair said worriedly, instinctively grasping her sword.

"We're under attack by rouge Honkai beasts, and there's a lot of them!" The short white-haired girl, Theresa, replied.

"...Honkai beasts..? I guess those are our enemies." Aether observed, he knew he wanted to help these people even though he was unfamiliar with the beasts that he would be fighting.

"Let's go have some fun with those monsters then!" Venti said enthusiastically as his Skyward Harp, as he called it, appeared in front of him.

Everyone else in the group of Teyvat residents seemed to agree, because both Lumine and Zhongli readied their weapons.

"We can help!" Aether shouted as he and his group approached Theresa's group of Valkiryes.

"Oh, okay! Mei, Bronya, take the guests to the front of the ship to subdue the Honkai beasts, me and Himeko will stay at the bridge to ensure it's safety!" Theresa ordered as she turned her attention to a hologram screen that appeared in front of her, showing security footage of parts of the Hyperion.

"Follow me, subject Bronya will lead the way." The girl with gray curly pigtails said as she left. Kiana, Mei, Zhongli, Venti, Lumine and Aether all followed her.
