Konoha's famous couple Sasuke Uchiha and Naruto Uzumaki. Perfect yet at the same time imperfect. No one can figure them out. Both seemed completely happy only to end without their happy ending.
"What? You're not mad? Why aren't you mad!? T-this is gonna ruin everything!" Naruto exclaimed with a tear falling down his face. "It doesn't have to. We just have to learn how to fall for each other." Sasuke said with a small smile. As Naruto stood there crying, Sasuke moved towards him to embrace the blond in a small hug. "It's what's best for everyone." The raven said as he rested his head atop the blond ones. "We don't have to act like a couple in public, but we can still be us, the unstoppable best friends." Naruto smiled lightly and snuggled his head in the ravens chest. "Yeah.. thank you."
TIME SKIP 3 MONTHS (i'm lazy)
Naruto's pov I fell for him. I won't deny it, I know I did. I could say I'm just keeping up with the act when I show him affection but..I know that's a lie, I fell for him. Sasuke Uchiha, my best friend and forced boyfriend. "Hey Sasuke, we have a meeting to go to, something about 'needing a gay couple model' for a new design Sakura came up with" Sasuke looked at me and jumped on top of me, "Naruto can we just stay here." Sasuke whined. "I'm getting sick of this. I'm forced to date you for God's sake, why can't we just stay this one time?" he said digging his face into my neck.
Yeah he doesn't have feelings for me, we just sorta got into the habit after doing this stuff in public for 3 months. "Sasuke, you know we can't just skip this." he whimpered "BUT NARU-" I cut him off by smacking the back of his head. "Don't be such a baby and let's go." He shook his head and said, "No, I'm not going." I rolled my eyes. "Yes you are. Now hurry up." He opened his mouth to refuse again but I cut him off. "I'll take you to eat after," I said with a mischievous smile "UGHHHH ALRIGHT!" With that we got ready and left.
~when they arrive~
Naruto's pov
We get there and I offer Sasuke my hand he takes it and gently laces our fingers together. "You know, I'm getting tired of this dating stuff, I wish we could go back to just being friends." I try to ignore the shattering feeling in my heart. "Y-yeah me too." I say, trying to not show how hurt I was. I know he doesn't feel the same way and I knew what I was getting myself into in the beginning, I knew it was one sided, but it still hurt to hear him say that. We walk into the building and headed into the room the meeting was being held at. We walked in to see both Sasuke and my parents along with Sakura, and people who I'm assuming were business partners.
"Alright, so this is the new design I have and I sketched it out on Naruto and Sasuke so we can get a visualization of what it will look like on them" Sakura says with a cheerful smile as she pulls up a slide.

"I don't wanna do it." I say still upset about what Sasuke had said. "What?" They all said in unison. "I don't wanna do it." I repeated, "You're not going to force it upon me again and you won't control my life anymore." With that I walked out leaving everyone in shock. Soon after, I heard footsteps following after me. I glance back and see Sasuke right behind me. He grabs my arm and turns me around so I'm now facing him. "What the hell was that about?" he questions me. I simply shrug and say,"Who knows."
"What? What's wrong with you?" he says moving his hands so that they're now placed on my shoulders. "Nothing's wrong with me, I'm just tired of all this bullshit, I'm tired of pretending to date you and pretending to be happy. When it's all just a bunch of bull!" I say, my voice breaking and tears streaming down my face. He looks at me with a hint of hurt in his eyes. "Please Naruto, j-j-just please don't do this right now." I scoff and look him in the eye, "Why? Because people are watching? Or maybe you don't want them to know that the "happy couple " isn't really perfect? Either way Sasuke, we're over, so don't even worry about it." He looks like he's on the verge of tears, "W-why why can't you just do what's best for the company? I mean i'm doing it, so why can't you?" He says putting his hands in my hair. "I simply don't like being controlled, is that bad Sasuke? Are you afraid i'll catch feelings for you. Or that you'll catch feelings for me? Or is "it's for the company" your cover up?" He looks at me with wide eyes letting a single tear drop. He seemed to recover from it rather quickly before speaking in an emotionless tone."I'll talk to my parents about this being over," and with that he walked away like as if nothing had happened. I walked home due to the fact that I wanted to make sure Sasuke got home safe in the car.
~at the house~
I let out a sob I didn't know I was holding and I fell to my knees "Why though?" I say through tears. "Why couldn't it have been real? Why couldn't we both be in love with each other?" I hear knocks on the front door. I get up and quickly wipe away my tears. I make my way to the front and open the door to find Hinata there standing. "Oh, hey Hinata," I say greeting her. "What are you doing here?" She sighs lightly before saying, " I heard what happened. Are you alright? " I can feel the tears starting to form again. "No.. I-I fell for him and then I ended it." I feel a lump form in my throat but I quickly push it away. "And I'm not sure why," I continue. "Maybe because he said he wanted to just be friends because he was tired of a fake realationship."
Hinata looked at me with understanding. "Naruto I know.. I've known you loved sasuke. The way you treated him wasn't fake.. it wasn't part of the act.." I smiled at her "thank you hinata" I then hugged her to which she hugged me back. After a few moments of silence she spoke up, "how about you stay with me? We both have school tomorrow, plus I wouldn't mind the extra company." I accept and go back to get some clothes before we walked to her car.
My mind kept going back to the scene where Sasuke was crying, why though? Why was he crying? Was my last thought before i closed my eyes and slept.
Around 20 minutes later I woke up to hinata shaking me "Naruto we arrived, you can sleep in the bed if you're still tired" she said with a smile "I will, thank you" I said. We walked into the house where she showed me to the guest bedroom and I threw myself on the bed and fell asleep again.
time skip 2am
It had started to rain and I looked to the right of me to see a sticky note "here's some onigiri and some water if you wake up and you're hungry :) -hinata " I chuckle "thanks again hinata" I whisper, before picking it up and eating it. After I was done I walked out the room and sat under the roof outside while thinking. I went to hinatas room and shook her slightly "umm hinata I know this sounds weird but can I sleep in here, I got scared cause I thought I saw someone" she laughed a bit then scooted over "thanks again for all this" she gave me some blanket "yeah of course"
