-----------------------------------Chapter 31: Jackass alert!
L I L L I A N (Lillian's P.O.V.)
My heart dropped to the pit of my stomach and my fierce glare looked up to see the stormy eyes of my first ex.
Jeremy stood up and when I got up, he took ahold of my hand.
Josh noticed this small movement and glared at our joined hands.
"May I help you?" Jeremy said calmly but even I knew he was controlling his anger.
Josh continued to glare at our joined hands.
"Y'all need to come inside the water! It's beau-" Sam rambled on but when she saw us, she completely stopped.
"You're Josh!" Sam stated. He looked up at Sam and his eyes squinted.
"Yes, and you are?" He asked her.
Sam walked over to Josh and a loud slap was heard.
My eyes widened but Jeremy smirked.
"That's what you get for breaking such a beautiful girl's heart." Sam seethed.
Josh looked up with fiery eyes. He slowly advanced towards Sam.
Jeremy walked in front of her and pushed Josh away.
"If you try to touch her, I'll break your hands!" He was obviously shocked. No one had spoken to Josh like that. Ever!
"And who the fuck are you to tell me? Is she your side bitch?" Josh yelled in Jeremy's face. My hand squeezed his tightly and Jeremy look down at me, with his lips set into a frown.
I shook my head, telling him not to start.
"She's no ones side bitch, jackass. She's my girlfriend!" Nathan growled, throwing a punch at Josh.
Josh's face was blotchy red and he looked back up at Nathan.
"Hey! Hey! Idiots, stop it!" Don ran over pushing Nathan to the side.
His face scrunched up in confusion.
"Josh?"
"Don? What the hell are you doing here?" Josh asked stunned.
"I'm here with my old friends and my brother." He pointed at Jeremy.
"How the fuck do you both know each other?" Jeremy hissed. Everyone looked between Josh and Don.
Don turned a bright shade of red and Josh fumbled around.
My eyes widened in realization.
"We were both in military school together and we hit it off!" Josh mumbled.
"Oh, hell no!" Blake was the one to scream.
"What?" Ryan asked slowly.
"Don, please tell me you didn't?" Jeremy winced.
"It was nothing to serious! We just talked and stuff." Don was brief that meant there was more things to be said.
"And hugged, touched, kisse-" But before Josh was finished, Blake threw a punch at Josh, which for the second time, left him with a blotchy red face.
