Upon her arrival at the set, Lisa is directed down a hallway with a set of double doors at the end. Opening one of them she sees two of the other mentors sitting on the far end of a long table. She makes her way over and introduces herself to them. They tell her it is nice to meet her and introduce themselves as Jony J and Ella Chen. The three of them proceed to make small talk while waiting for one more mentor. Their attempts at starting a conversation do not last very long, however, reason being that Lisa cannot yet speak enough Chinese to keep the conversation going. The end result is Lisa sitting there in silence and listening to the other two mentors talk with each other. Shortly after Lisa's arrival, the last mentor enters the room.

Although, to be fair, the trio in the room knew they wouldn't be waiting for very long as they heard him coming down the hall before he even came in. It sounded like he was arguing with someone. Right when Lisa was about to ask Ella and Jony if they knew what was going on outside, he walked in.

All of the questions she had immediately disappeared when she saw his face. It was practically perfect. He had plump lips and a nose that perfectly fit his slightly rounded face. His eyebrows were dark and thick and framed his eyes beautifully and his eyes, goodness gracious, his eyes, they were the most beautiful eyes Lisa had ever seen in her life. Brown in color, they were shiny and kinda big. Those eyes seemed to hold an innocence to them...up until he smiled. The moment he smiled the innocent look went away and was replaced with one of mischief.

"Hello everyone. I'm Cai Xukun, the final member of this little group. I hope you all take good care of me as I'm the youngest of the four of us."

Lisa, Ella and Jony could not believe what they were hearing.

"Boy, you made all that commotion out in the hall and then have the nerve to come in here and ask us to take care of you?" Jony asks.

"Yes?"

"What was all that noise about anyway?" Lisa inquires.

He shrugs his shoulders, "Me and my manager got into a little disagreement is all, but never mind that; you're the foreign judge right?"

"Yes, why do you ask, is it a problem for you?" her tone took a sudden combative edge as if she expected him to confirm he had a problem with her. This would not be the first time she had someone refuse to work with her because she is Thai, so Lisa was well prepared to argue if Xukun turned out to be an ignorant fool.

"No no no," he rushed out "I have no problem with you being foreign. I asked because I wanted to know if you need any help with Chinese, I can translate for you!"

"Oh." She was a bit embarrassed but, hey at least she knew he did not have anything against her being Thai. "I could use a bit of help with Chinese."

Xukun takes the seat beside her and she apologizes for her attitude earlier. He tells her it's no big deal and that if he was her he would have reacted the same way. With the tension between them gone, Lisa and Kun quickly strike up a conversation and the pair find themselves becoming fast friends.

In the middle of Kun's story about a childhood friend getting a fish hook suck in his back, the mentors are told the first girl had arrived and should be with them soon. Lisa gets Kun to promise that he will finish the story later and then they steel themselves against the long day ahead of them.

🖤🖤🖤

After about an hour and a half, all 109 girls have been introduced, so everyone moves to a room with a stage where each mentor will give a performance so the trainees can see what they should aspire to look and sound like on stage.

After the mentors performances, the trainees will show the them, the performance they prepared. As soon as the groups finish the judges will rank them into four different categories, A; B; C; and D. The contestants were sat in the shape of a pyramid with the judges at a table toward the bottom of it. Group A would sit at the top, B and C in the middle, and D at the bottom behind the judges.

Ella Chen sang a beautiful ballad while Jony J did an emotional rap. Lisa did a brand new dance that was choreographed specifically for the show (A/N: she did the dances from season 2). Kun goes next and he performs his song, Young.

When Kun returns to his seat next to Lisa he turns to her and says, "Your performance was amazing and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that thinks so, the girls cheered for you more than they did for anyone else."

"Thank you, I'm glad everyone liked it but, yours was really good too," she smiled. "However, I can't believe you really said 'you gotta call me daddy' like you really went all out with the whole dumb fun thing for that song huh."

Mischief dances in his eyes at his at her words, "Yep, and you know, if you want, you can call me daddy too."

She just shakes her head at him and giggles, "You like when girls call you daddy?"

"Only when they're pretty like you," he answers.

They are interrupted by Ella clearing her throat. "The two of you need to pay attention now. The first group is coming on and we won't be able to score them properly without you guys." The pair turn to face the stage so that the long process of sorting the trainees could begin.

🤍🤍🤍

Hours past before they finish filming for episode one and even though the mentors and the girls were given a break somewhere around the three hour mark all of them are still tired when they finally finish.

As Lisa is packing up her stuff so she can head home, Kun comes up to her and asks if she would like to out with him. She tells him yes and asks when and where. He replies that it does not matter and that they can go whenever she decides. She doesn't really care where they go so, in the end the two friends decide to go clubbing next week Friday night. In the meanwhile they spend the next week and a half working hard to help the trainees develop their existing skills and build the ones they don't have. Needless to say Friday arrives very quickly.
