No POV

Twas the afternoon in the Happy Tree Village Mall, five days before Christmas, where everyone goes there to buy the wonderful gifts and Christmas decorations to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year. Then there is a goofy moose named Lumpy along with his adopted son, Y/n the reindeer who came here to apply for the Mall Santa job and luckily for them, they got the job for this year with Lumpy as the Mall Santa and Y/n as his assistant Reindeer Elf.

The reason why they decided to apply for the Mall Santa is because Lumpy wanted to do this with his own adopted son that he risked his own life to save him during a very cold blizzard after he was shocked to see the poor reindeer freezing to death while being unconscious in the ice-cold snow. So he took the poor reindeer to his home and does his best to save him and warm him up near the fireplace with a nice cup of hot cocoa. Then the next morning, he decided to adopt the now orphaned reindeer since he remembered seeing the boy's own mother's dead body in the snow and the two of them became so close together as father and son.

Lumpy: Oh boy. Are you excited for this job, Y/n?

Y/n: I'm sure am excited for this moment to become your assistant elf in training.

Lumpy: That's why we're doing to celebrate Christmas, but also celebrate the anniversary of how I save you from the blizzard and adopt you as my own son. And what better way to celebrate it then to work as a Mall Santa at the Happy Tree Village Mall. It's like an actually father and son relationship isn't it, boy?

Y/n: It sure is, papa?

Lumpy: Well, we better get right to it then. Because we have a lot of work to do to get everyone into the holiday spirit.

Y/n: Yes, papa.

Everyone in Happy Tree Village loved Christmas a lot even for the most shady characters like Lifty, Shifty, Fliqpy and Splendont, but the infamous Billy Mason the sinister pussycat, did not. Billy Mason hated Christmas as well the Christmas holiday spirit and the whole Christmas Season. Please don't ask and don't even bother asking, no one quite knows why he doesn't like Christmas at all.

It could be that his own shoes were too tight or it probably stinks in there. It could be that his head or his brain that has a part to learn his own lessons about what he done to everyone here in town. But I think the most likely reason that his own heart was...two sizes too small or it could be that it was labeled unhinged making him completely irredeemable.

His own hatred for Christmas has made him so jealous that he believe that every gift should rightfully belong to him like it's a holiday about him and everyone should give him gifts and worship like he's the king of the world. Especially about that moose and his fellow reindeer who got the job at the Mall Santa business that made Billy Mason so angry and jealous of how he thinks that the kids here are worshiping the jolly fat man that he rudely calls.
