Chapter 28: Attack!

Clarke Griffin POV:
I was suddenly woken up by the sound of my alarm. I groaned and sat up, turning my alarm off in the process. These past few days have been really... stressful. But there was nothing I could do about it right now. I set up my speaker and hop in the shower, letting the music take me to my happy place, hard as it may be to find.
After I get dressed and eat, I head out and walk to the building where my first class is. I find Lincoln waiting outside for me, but I just walked past him. It's not long before he's walking right beside me. "Well hello to you to Clarke." Lincoln says. I just roll my eyes and walk faster towards Mr. Gibbs's classroom. He just walks right back up to me. "What's going on? Why are you ignoring me-" I cut him off by shoving him into an empty classroom. "Hey! What's wrong with you-" I cut him off. "No! What's wrong with you ,Lincoln! You kissed Octavia!" I yelled angrily, but not too loud knowing other students would hear. Lincoln practically paled when he had heard what I said. "Cl-Clarke I-" He trailed off. I scoffed and shook my head. "You're lucky Raven and Octavia sorted out their issues or else I would've done a lot worse than just yelling at you." I threatened. Lincoln gave a single nod and kept his gaze on his sneakers. "Let's go ,we're going to be late to class." I said opening the door and storming out into the sea of college students.
I made it through my classes without punching Lincoln because our seats were usually kinda far apart but I had a feeling it was going to be a lot harder when we had to get in the same car to head to HQ to meet up with Lexa in a few minutes.

Meanwhile at HQ: (narrators POV)
"Dang it." Lexa muttered to herself. Lexa had just gotten word that the Azgeda were nowhere to be seen. After thoroughly scolding her guards, she alerted Indra, Titus and Luna to come to the meeting room immediately. Lexa was sat at the head of the table, hands folded on top of the glass table and legs crossed. Only a few seconds later, Indra, Luna and Titus had walked in, immediately talking their seats.

"Heda! Your message sounded important. What has happened?" Indra said with concern in her eyes. Lexa took a careful look at the three of them with her stoic, unemotional face and said "The guards that were in charge of watching Azgeda have failed. They are missing. My guess is that they are on there way here." She said slowly, making sure everybody understood. "We should prepare the building for lockdown and station some of our best warriors outside." Titus said, puffing up his chest. "No! Absolutely not! If we prepare the building for lockdown and the Azgeda are coming here, they will surely know somethings up. Not to mention that our strongest warriors should be inside ready to protect and assist Heda." Luna argued back. Indra stayed silent for a few seconds but after a pause said. "I believe Luna is right here, Heda." "Oh so what we're just going to let Azgeda waltz right through our front doors! Outrageous!" Titus argued back.

They continued to argue like this, going back and forth between each other, Lexa getting more agitated by each growing moment. She finally had enough. Lexa immediately raised her hand in the air and within seconds, the three were silenced and quiet. "Ai don sen in chit bilaik ai gaf sen in." She said. "We will not alarm Azgeda as they will retreat and come back with enough force to blow us up. Position guards outside of the most important rooms. Everybody out there armor on and notify the rest of HQ of the turn of events. Only allow people who have access to me, in the building until this is over." Lexa said with finality, walking out the meeting room.

Lexa Woods POV:
After I left the meeting room I quickly ran to my room and clamped on all of my armor. I grabbed my swords and daggers, strapping them into place throughout my armor where they were easily accessible. I was about to head out to meet the extra security when there was a knock on my door. I carefully grabbed one of my swords and readied it as I opened my door.
