Not as I planned

Chapter 1: The plan

"Would you like me to fetch the General, Führer?" said Sturmbannführer Lance. 

"Yes, and tell her that it's important." the Führer replied. 

Lance left the meeting room to grab the General. He had no idea what the Führer was planning, all he knew was that it was top secret and highly important considering no one else was given knowledge to this plan. Lance arrives where the General was training, and knocked on the door before entering. 

"Good evening General." 

"Good evening Quentin. Is there something you need?" said General Kara Queen. 

"The Führer would like to meet with you to discuss a confidential matter. He is waiting in the meeting room." 

"Ah ok. Thank you for informing." Kara left the private training room without another word to Quentin, and made her way to the meeting room where Oliver was sitting. 

"You wanted to discuss something with me Oliver?" Oliver looked up from the documents he was reading through. 

"Yes, close the door and come sit." Oliver motions his hand for Kara to sit across from him. 

"What's this confidential matter that you needed to discuss with me?" 

"Remember how we wanted to take over Earth 1?" Kara nodded. "Well I've composed a plan."

"What's your plan?" Kara straightens up in her chair. 

"Well from our recent research, there are some... protectors of Earth 1. 'Heroes' in a way." Oliver begins, "My original plan was to attack them when they were all together so we can get rid of them all at once. However, I realized that they'd be stronger when they are teamed up. I feel like the best way to get more personal information on them, like weaknesses, we would have to either interrogate one of their allies or go undercover. Undercover would be the best solution." 

"So who were you thinking of to go undercover?" 

"Initially, I thought the best option was for me to go undercover and take Oliver's place in Star city on Earth 1. However, I realized that I would be needed here as I am Führer. Also, from what I know, Oliver is a... complicated person, and it would be hard for me to convince his allies that I am him."

"What are you saying?" 

"My next thought was you."

"Me? I am needed here too Führer." 

"Yes, I know that General. But there is no one else I trust more for this mission. Who better to go undercover then my wife?" 

"Ok. But is there even a Kara on Earth 1? I thought there wasn't one?" Kara asks now slightly confused. 

"There isn't. Even though from our research, there has been sightings and traces of kryptonians, however we found out that they aren't from Earth 1. From the looks of it, on Earth 1 your pod hadn't reached Earth. It either got stuck in the phantom zone or destroyed before it could reach it. But this kryptonian is from Earth 38, and seems to make annual appearances on Earth 1. I believe she is an allies to these people." 

"So I'm going to go undercover on Earth 38, not Earth 1?" 

"Yes! Since Kara... Danvers, I believe her name is. Is allies with the 'heroes' of Earth 1, you will go undercover on Earth 38, take her place, and get intel on both the protectors of Earth 1 and Earth 38." Oliver explains. 

"Ok, but why get intel about Earth 38 too?" 

"So we can take over Earth 38 as well. Kill two birds with one stone. Then we'll have threes Earths to rule and bend to our will." Oliver states and smirks. 

"Good idea Führer." Kara smirks wickedly. 

"And, you can choose one of the Earths for yourself. Think of it as a gift of gratitude to my wife." Oliver said. 

"Thanks Oliver." 

"Only the best for my wife!" Oliver smiles. He leans over the table and kisses Kara. "Now we better get you prepared for the mission." Kara nods.

After three weeks of training and preparing for the secret mission, Oliver and Kara both think it's time for Kara to make an appearance on Earth 38. 

"I think you're ready General." Oliver says while he straightens his posture. "We just have to wait for the right moment to capture Kara Danvers and bring her here." 

"Where is she now?" Oliver turns around to turn on the monitor behind him. 

"It appears that she is on her way to work. Should we breach now?" 

"Let's wait until she's closer to an alley. It would be easier to replace her then, Führer." Kara suggests. 

"Good idea General. She is about to pass one now. You ready?"

"Yes. I'm in her..." Kara looks down at her clothes. "... Silly little get up. The only thing I don't have is those stupid glasses of hers."

"We'll just have take them from her then." Oliver smiles and opens a breach to Earth 38. Both Kara and Oliver jump through the breach. 

Once they jumped through the breach Kara began to panic internally. She begins to worry that she won't be convincing enough. That they'll figure out she's not their Kara. What if they use kryptonite on her? 

"Here she comes..." Kara takes a deep breath. "I'll see you soon General. Here's the extrapolator, keep me updated. I want consistent reports back." Oliver jumps back through the breach to Earth X. 

Right as Earth 38 Kara walks past the alleyway that Kara from Earth X is in, she punches out Earth 38 Kara, takes her glasses and her phone, and sends her through a breach to Earth X, where Oliver would keep her sedated until the mission was over. Then kill her of course. Kara slipped the extrapolator and the phone into her pocket. 

"I am Kara Danvers now, reporter at Catco worldwide media, and I'm Supergirl." Kara says to herself before taking another deep breath and leaving the alleyway. 

It was now time to put on her best performance and convince everyone that she was the goody two shoes Kara Danvers, whom everyone loves. Whoopee!
