Meeting Catra

(Y/N's POV)

I slept soundly but cautiously in my new bed. Just to be woken up early for training. Great. I noticed people getting ready. A boy with messy brown hair, a muscular girl, and a reptile. I had noticed another cat looking girl still laying in her bed. The blonde girl was missing? Weird.

I hopped out of my bed - ignoring the others - and got ready. 'This uniform is so tight. Guess I'll just get used to it.' I thought to myself as I slid on some grey boots. I quickly stood up and turned around, hoping that I wouldn't have to introduce my self. 

I quickly regretted my fast action as soon as I had bumped into the feline girl from before. I tried to quickly pass her after, not even trying to apologize. I was soon stopped by something grabbing my arm. 

"Got something to say to me, newbie?" she asked coldly. 'Does she expect me to apologize?' I thought to myself before sighing. "Sorry." I muttered, taking my hand back. She sarcastically smiled at me and turned around to walk off. 'Rude.' I waited for the others to head to the training room so I wouldn't be alone.

In the training room

I analyzed everyone as they seemed tense. The brunette girl wore a menacing scowl, which was different in contrast to the others' anxious looks. Then, as I has just finished examining the others, a large robot burst into the room. Of course it resembled a princess. The other cadets started charging at the bot so I did the same. It didn't take long for people to start getting thrown off to the side or disqualified.

I stayed strong though. Close up combat is my strong suit so this should be a piece of cake, right?I started to focus on the bot which cleared my mind of the nervous thoughts. Soon enough I was the only one fighting the bot when all of the sudden the cat girl came in and started helping.

She looked on edge, though. But that didn't phase me. 'I don't know her, I don't care. Focus on the bot Y/N' I exclaimed. I fought for a bit longer until Catra stabbed it in its core..

I sighed, noticing that the block under me turned red. "Huh?" I whispered to myself in confusion. The block just disappeared and I started falling. I yelped as I processed the situation. This is it. I have been here for a day and I'm gonna die. My thoughts ran wildly through my mind until i felt something grab me. The girl! She pulled me up and practically threw me to the side.

"Yeah.. They do that idiot. Maybe be more careful." she finished and then started glaring at me. I smiled at her, "Thanks for the help captain obvious." I huffed sarcastically. She twitched and then walked away. How odd. I quickly did the same and went to grab what they called "lunch". 

(Catra's POV)

After grabbing a ration bar I made my way up to where me and Adora used to hang out. I was peacefully enjoying my bar when I heard footsteps. They finally revealed themselves, not noticing I was there. "Newbie?" I asked coldly.

Her head snapped up from the ground. "Eh?!- Oh.. Captain Obvious." she glared at me. 'That nickname is getting annoying-' I thought as I glared right back. Who does this girl think she is? She then made her way over to me and sat by me on the railing. 

"What is this thing? It looks disgusting. Like prison food." she sneered as she gestured to the ration bar. "It's a ration bar, idiot. Sorry that they don't serve your kind of royalty food here." I scoffed as I took a bite out of mine.

She laughed, "Royalty? Please, I wish." She paused, "I just don't know what I was expecting. The prisoners probably get better food." she chuckled again. This girl hasn't bothered anyone yet, why is she bothering me?

She then turned to me, "Hey, what happened to that blonde girl?" She asked while hesitantly chomping on her ration bar. 

The blonde girl... Adora... No.. what happened? Really? What happened?

I scoffed and took a bite of my ration bar and turned forward. "They finally got some sense and got rid of her." I said proudly. It hurt, so much. But she left me behind. She went off with her stupid princess pricks. She decided to go. I didn't realize I had been lost in thought until Newbie spoke up, "Hm, must suck. Off with her head I guess." She chuckled. 

"Off. With. Her. Head." I smirked. I'll be way better than her. She'll regret every leaving... 

(A/N sorry it's short but I had just picked this up after a few months. I'll be posting a lot of chapters tonight if I can so look forward to it my lil simps ^^)
