I was born with bright loving pink colored eyes. Although my parents were born with brown, and so was everyone else's eyes in my village. My parents took me to a doctor to try and find out why my eyes were different but none could tell us anything.
///
My parents were sadden by this. Even though they wanted to, they couldn't hide me from the outside world forever they were only able to keep me until my secondary years had to start. As I had to go to school at some point, I had never been outside at this point and had many questions so my parents made a list of things for me to understand, follow, and do.
1) Listen to teachers and elders.
2) Stay quite and learn.
3) Don't talk to strangers.
4) mind your business.
5) don't be rude to others.
6) do onto others as you'd have them do onto you.
7) think. Use your head for once.My parents were never the type to show affection to me. But they did it well with my younger brother who also went to school although it was mostly day care and I went to secondary.

When I had got into the classroom, I had all eyes on me. It caught me off guard then I remembered something that I had over heard my parents say once.
"I'm telling you, out daughter is a demon spawn!! Why else are her eyes a different color then the WHOLE village!?!?" My father yelled.
"Look,.. I understand you're upset, but there's nothing we can do now.. all we can do is hope she can survive this place until she is of age to move far away from here.." my mother calmly spoke.
She was always good at doing that..
"Hello?"
I jumped from my head space and looked up, it was an older woman that I had assumed was my teacher so I spoke.
"Greeting ma'am, are you perhaps my teacher?" I tried to sound like mother. But my voice was as shakey as always.
"Yes indeed! But there is no need for ma'am. You may call me mrs.redwood or miss. Whatever makes you most comfortable!" She said with a warm smile.
It reminded me of someone familiar.. but I couldn't put a thought to it.
"Okay miss,"
"You can sit right there in the front,"
I walked towards the front even though I felt people watching me. The feeling of all there eyes on me made me want to vomit but I bit my tounge and sat down anyway.
I knew why they were starting now but it didn't make me feel any better. I closed my eyes and hid behind my flowy black hair hoping it would go away.
It didn't.
Before I could react the teacher came up and introduced her self to everyone, I didn't care for it much and just let her speak while I did my own thing on the paper I was given quietly.
Then something hit me in the head.
A pebble had fallen on my desk I looked up but no one was looking my way so I kept doing my own thing.
Then it happened again.
It was a bigger pebble than before and this time it hurt do to the speed of the throw. I looked in the direction it was thrown and saw a boy, he had brown eyes but very light. Which was considered very important in my village. He had blonde hair and a few freckles. He smirked in a sinister way and picked a bigger rock than before and threw it at me.
The teacher hadn't noticed do to her facing the other way. Neither did the kids beside me or were they just scared of him? Then I felt something cold drip down the side of my head.
I went to take my hand to it and felt..
B l o o d . . .
Even for someone as mean as him you would have thought he would have regretted such an action. But he just chuckled and starred at my dazed expression.
It didn't hurt weather it was my pain tolerance or my adrenaline but I just smiled and continued to go back to doodling on my paper. But someone near me had noticed the blood spot on my desk and had called the teacher over who had to bandage my head. It didn't hurt..
So why did she do that?
