"EZRA!!!!!"

The sound of a gun going off shocked everyone. Sabine had a horrified look on her face as she saw Ezra on the ground with blood coming out of his right shoulder. Ezra had blood coming out of his mouth and was coughing. "You....you shot me?" He struggled to say as Walker was putting cuffs on him. "Y-You.....you shot him?" Sabine said as tears went down her face. She tired to walk towards Ezra but that's when Hoskins pulled a gun out on her. "Stay back now!" He shouted making Sabine stop as Hera pulled her back. Sabine started to cry hard seeing Ezra being detained and bleeding out on the ground. "Please! Help him! He's gonna die!" Sabine said. "Shut up!" Walker said as he flipped Ezra on his back checking for anything in his pockets. Sabine cried harder and Hera pulled her into a hug her own tears falling. Soon the two officers called paramedics and they put him in an ambulance taking him to the hospital.

Later

At the hospital, Sabine, Kanan, Zeb and Hera sat in the waiting room as Ezra was in surgery for his shoulder. Sabine was sitting on a couch hugging her legs to her chest burying her face into her knees crying a little as Hera sat next to her with an arm around her in comfort. They have been in the waiting room for almost 8 hours waiting for some kind of results but nothing yet. During those hours Hera and Kanan reported the two police officers for what happened and the Department is doing an investigation on the whole thing.

"Sabine." A voice called her name. Sabine slightly looked up to see her parents Ursa and Amari and brother Tristan walking over to her. "Mom. Dad. Tristan." Sabine said getting up. She ran up to them and hugged her mother. Ursa hugged back tight comforting her as she slightly cried. "Shh. It's okay Sabine. It's going to be okay." Ursa said stroking Sabine's hair. "I'm so scared. What if he's not okay. It's all my fault. I'm the one who let those officers in the house to ask me questions. If I hadn't let them in this wouldn't have happened." Sabine sobbed. "It's not your fault Sabine. Ezra will be okay." Ursa said. "Yeah. He's strong. He'll pulled through." Tristan said placing his hand on her shoulder.

Then they saw a female in a suit with a badge on his belt walking towards them. "Excuse me Ms. Wren." She said and Sabine turned to her. "Who are you?" Sabine asked wiping away tears. "My name is Brooklyn Patterson. I'm the Captain of the police department. Can we sit down and talk. I would understand if the rest of you would like to stay with her." She said.

Sabine sat down on the couch with Ursa and Hera by her side as Brooklyn sat across from them. "For starters I just want to say I'm sorry about what happened to your boyfriend. I do not condone those kind of measures and I'm having a full investigation on the whole thing." She said. "Excuse my rudeness but sorry isn't gonna change what happened to Ezra." Hera said. "Yeah. What those officers did was wrong and uncalled for." Ursa added. "I understand completely. You all have every right to be angry. If you can, I would like for you to replay everything that happened at your home." Brooklyn said. Sabine wiped away more tears and then started to explain to her what happened.

After explaining it to her Brooklyn looked down. "I see. I will continue this investigation and come back to you with news. I hope your boyfriend will be okay." Brooklyn said as she got up and left. Sabine felt tired and laid her head down on her mothers lap hugging herself starting to cry again. She just wanted to see Ezra and to see if he's okay, she just wanted him to hold her and tell her everything is okay. Soon she started to cry herself to sleep in her mother's lap as her mother stroked her hair.

2 hours later

Everyone was slightly awake or sleep in the waiting room as the sun was starting to go down and the night sky was about to show. Just then, a nurse came into the waiting room and walked towards Sabine who was still sleep in Ursa's lap. The nurse kneeled down to Sabine and she slightly shook her shoulder. "Excuse me, Ms. Wren." She said. Sabine started to wake up along with the others. Once she saw the nurse she sat up and rubbed her eyes. "Hi. I'm Miss. Yuuki. I have news for you." Yuuki said. "Is it about Ezra? Is he okay?" Sabine asked. Yuuki smiled and stepped to the side for Sabine to see

It was Ezra. He was okay. He had bandages around his right shoulder, wearing a tank top and pants. "Hey Sabine." He said. Sabine instantly ran towards Sabine and hugged him tight wrapping her arms around his neck burying her face into his neck crying. "Ezra, you're okay." She said while sobbing into his neck. "Yeah, I'm okay. You ain't getting rid of me that easily." Ezra said hugging her back. "He's in good shape. He lost blood but not a lot to cause internal damage. He just needs to keep that bandage on him for a few weeks so the wound don't get infected." Yuuki said. "Thank you so much for helping him." Hera said. "It was nothing. I'm glad he was able to help him." Yuuki said and left. Ezra looked down at Sabine who was still crying. "Are you okay Sabine?" He asked and she shook her head. "Do you want me to do anything?" Ezra asked. "Hold me please. Don't let go of me." She muttered into his neck and Ezra did what she said holding her.

Then they heard footsteps behind them and Ezra turned around to see the police captain Brooklyn. "Ezra Bridger right?" She asked. "Yeah. Who are you?" Ezra asked back. "I'm Captain Brooklyn Patterson. I came here with some news about the two officers who attacked you." Brooklyn said. "Such as?" Ezra asked. "The two officers have been stripped from their ranks and have beem placed under arrest for harassment and assault. They won't be working for any police force anytime soon. On behalf of myself, my officers and the police department I would like to apologize for their behavior and for what they did and I hope there won't br no bad blood between our department." Brooklyn said. "It's fine. Just some people in this world are stupid. Thank you." Ezra said and Brooklyn walked away.

"I'm glad to see you're okay Ezra." Hera said. "I'm glad I'm okay too. A little sore but I'll be okay." Ezra said. "Well it's getting late. Lets go back to the house. We've had quite a day." Kanan said. "Ready to go Sabine?" Ezra asked but Sabine shook her head and said something into his neck. "What has that?" Ezra asked.

"........Carry me." Sabine muttered more loudly. Ezra smiled at her. "Sure. Hop up." He said. Sabine jumped up wrapping her legs around him and laying her head on his neck as Ezra wrapped his arms under her thighs. "Ready to go now?" He asked and Sabine nodded smiling as Ezra carried her out of the hospital.
