*LOOONG CHAPTER WARNING:)*
Rose's POV
(While Ginny was in the library with Michael)

Ginny had given me the job of handling Cora. A sleep and eat deprived Cora. I could practically feel my anxiety shooting up. Nonetheless, Cora wouldn't go to the Hog's Head for all the Galleons in the world. I had to convince her somehow.

"Look Cors, there's nothing to it. We go, hear what they have to say, and leave. The barman won't even know you're there." I promised.

"I'm that easy to ignore?" Cora pouted.

"Goddamn." I muttered under my breath using my hands to pull the first few strands of hair in my face back.

"You good? Let's get something to eat." Cora let go of her childish mood and led me to the Great Hall.

I smiled. Cora is a great friend. She acts cool and tough but underneath all that she is as soft as my pale fuzzy pink blanket with rhinestones.

I couldn't see Ginny in the Hall but I thought she might want to talk to Michael. They haven't talked much and I felt bad for Ginny, because it wasn't helping her get over Harry.

Cora gave me a blueberry muffin. My favorite.

"Eat. You'll feel better." She said echoing what Professor Lupin had told me when I had an anxiety attack after looking at my homework in second year.

"This is so good." I said after swallowing the first bite and brushing some crumbs away.

Cora giggled.

"What?"

"You have crumbs all over your chin!" She exclaimed holding her hands to her mouth like a five year old. I rolled my eyes and wiped them off with a stray napkin.

"About this 'meeting thing'." Cora said using her pointer and middle finger to exaggerate.

"Oh?" I said all business-like.

"I'll go to it. But only, because Umbridge isn't doing a fuck." Cora rolled her eyes.

"Cora! There are second years here and you're traumatizing them with your language." My eyes were wide as I saw second years looking at Cora like she had just grown another head. One without a brain that is.

"I said I'll come okay?" Cora shot the peace sign at me and I grabbed her in a big hug.

"Thank you, thank you, thank youuuu!" I squealed.

"Okay, yeah, tone it down just a notch sister." Cora was clearly uncomfortable.

I released her and picked up my muffin taking a few more slow, cautious bites, careful not to let crumbs all over me again.

Cora rolled her eyes.

"Keep going like that, and they'll stay that way." I smirked.

She sighed.

After eating our breakfast, and Cora watching me like an eagle, we headed back to Gryffindor Tower.

I threw myself onto my bed and twirled a piece of my hair.

"I'm getting seriously worried about you Laurs." Cora commented looking at me through her mirror. She was brushing her hair which was now halfway down her back.

"Me? I'm fiiine."

"You looked like you were about to faint." Cora put down her hair brush and I could see the worry in her eyes. I think this business with Lexi was messing with her mind or something.

"I was a little dizzy. Blood rush or whatever they call it." I waved my hand dismissively.

"I'll let it go for the moment."
