Prologue

The year 2023. The Philippines still struggling to revive its dying economy after the pandemic. The Philippines cut off the budget close to nothing on the Military hoping that it will help to revive its dying economy. Meanwhile the Chinese see this as an opportunity to lend a large sum of money to the Philippines to revive its economy, the Philippine Government sees this as a blessing that will help the country, but little did they know, the money that the Chinese lend is so large that it will be impossible for Ph to pay back without giving its Islands in the West Philippine sea for free.

August, Year 2023. A dark spot darker than black starts to manifest high above the Philippines's Mesosphere,

November 18, 2023. The dark spot has completely covered the Philippines. Every country that has ties in the Philippines tried to establish contact inside the dark spot but to no avail, their efforts are in vain. The US and other countries try their 2nd attempt to establish contact and approach it via drones, physicist believes that in 500 miles, the natural order of this world starts to get weird, some parts within 500 miles near the black curtain-like-cover, floating islands and water was present in the vicinity, fishes swim in the air, birds were seen flying in reverse. The drones that were sent in the anomalous zones instantly halted their action as the controls and instructions were simply disconnected. The other countries cease any plans and operations to approach as they decide to only observe and wait.

November 27, 2023. NASA, JAXA, ESA, CSA satellites observe a spot darker than black expanding above the clouds of the Philippines, meanwhile, in the Philippines, it was still normal on the streets, people can go outside now that the pandemic is gone, children can now go outside, travel restriction was lifted, large gatherings are now safe if you're wondering why do these people are not looking up and be scared as a black spot slowly engulfing the country, it's because when they look up, during the day they can still see the sun, clouds, sky, at night - they still can see the moon, stars and some clouds, if it's raining season in the Philippines, they still experience the Rain even if the "Void" is up above them. The "Void" (is what they officially call it) was observe 3 months before they publicly reveal it to the whole world, the "Void" became so large that the space agencies were forced to reveal it in public. Scientist, Physicist, astrophysicist believes that the "Void" was slowly getting bigger as it absorbs any form of matter in the area until it can absorb the whole Country.

January 14, 2024. The Philippines was transported in an unknown world. The Filipino government decides to send its surveillance aircraft to 4 different directions to explore and scout for nearby civilization.

January 20, 2024. Because the Philippines lost the satellites that were used for communication, the internet, media, and the Philippines don't have any means to develop a rocket to deliver its satellites into orbit, the government decides to deliver its news and announcement via radio. Some areas can't receive radio, so they encourage the LGUs (Local Government Unit) with unreachable areas to manually deliver newspaper into this said area.

January 28, 2024. It's been months since the last time they establish contacts from their neighboring countries. Since November 2023, any means of communication and internet connection was cut off, the government not knowing what happens to the outside and its neighboring countries, now they need to deal with the masses complaints urging the government to explain, what happened to the country and other countries and why the earth has 2 moons instead of one. The masses complain about what happened since November, worrying about their families and love ones abroad during the "disconnection" (that's what the Filipinos call it during the 3 months of disconnection to the outside world) and now 2 weeks ago, they need to deal with the fact that the earth has now 2 moons. The Philippines can't implement Martial Law because of the country's economics, they're still recovering from the pandemic and now the sudden transfer. Instead, the Philippine government decides to plead with the public to act normal as if the citizens didn't notice anything. The government requests the "Insurgents" (I didn't specify the group but I leave it to the readers to think who's group it is) to halt any form of hostile activities and plans to overthrow the government, in exchange the government will listen to the "insurgent's" requests and pleas and see what they can do about it.
