I feel the teacher's gaze move to me.

Thin wisps of dark hair hang from his head loosely, he wears a blue shirt. But not any kind of blue shirt, a neon blue shirt, the kind you see swimmers wear. I find myself hoping he doesn't come up to me and try to strike a conversation of some sort.

The bell rings, indicating the end of the school day. I notice students around me packing up so I follow suit, watching the teacher very closely. Today is not a good day for me to be to be held back. I can feel my wolf itching underneath my skin, practically begging to be let out. It's so uncomfortable.

I hide from my teacher behind a guy with red hair. Suddenly, a hand prevents me from moving further.

"What is it?" I question, almost immediately sensing Hayden.

"Why don't we go say hello to our new teacher," he starts.

Is he stupid or something?

"No. Are you crazy?" I interrupt, "Don't you feel it?"

"Feel what?"

"The burn. The aching need to let out your wolf?"

"Oh, yeah," he says as if noticing it for the first time.

"That's why we need to get out of here."

"Just follow my lead." I say, still hiding behind the redhead. He turns his head around, probably sensing me behind him, so I quickly move to the other side and pretend like nothing happened.

There are about 10 people left in the classroom, so there's a high chance that we could make it out without being spotted.

Hayden tries copy me by hiding behind a short girl with pink hair.

I laugh internally at his stupidity.

"Hey, uh. Hayden, is it?" The male teacher butts in, fully directing his attention to my twin.

I sigh, I guess I'll have to leave by myself now.

The door is only a few steps away. Sandwiched between two people, I ready myself for freedom.

From my peripheral, I spot Hayden pointing at me.

"And over there, is my twin, Rain."

Snitch.

"Oh wow, that's such a lovely name." The teacher gushes, walking towards me.

I wonder what he has to say to me?

"I hope you've liked my lessons so far," he starts, "and don't worry, you won't have me for every lesson like today- speaking of which, when is our next lesson together?"

"How am I supposed to know?" I say impatiently.

Hayden nudges me sharply.

"What I mean is that I am not too familiar with my timetable yet." I correct myself, dramatically making my accent more posh.

He runs over to the computer on his desk in the same way that Miss Grennfield did. He then runs his eyes over the screen.

"How lovely! All of your classes are with your twin, it must be fate!"

I smirk at Hay next to me.

My wolf gnaws at me.

"We need to go" I say into Hayden's head, "I'm so close to shifting."

Okay, that was an exaggeration. I've gone weeks without shifting before, I can control the urge. But this conversation is pointless, I could literally just check my planner.
