CHAPTER 1
CLOUDS WILL ALWAYS ACCOMPANY SKIES

Have you ever thought of thinking, what comes after the clouds? Then what about the skies?

Are they the same? Are they different from each other?

Sky Hernandez thinks the same things. Palagiang nakatingin sa langit, asking himself what comes after these beautiful skies? What comes after these things that existed?

Even if it's clear that what comes after the skies, is the atmosphere, Sky still believes there's something else. Something that might lie above the skies.

Since it's summer, Sky has nothing else to do. With his parents away from home, as always, he's all alone in the house that became his best friend for the couple of years. A best friend that he can rely on everytime.

With his boredness, he drag himself to the computer and open it up. Holding his chin, he opened his social media account and scrolled in there when a message pop-up.

Napakunot pa s'ya ng noo sa una pero agad n'ya rin itong binuksan para basahin. And it was none other than the person that keeps his day bright.

Cloud Timmothy Himenez.

Upon reading the message he immediately made his way to his room and prepared a bunch of clothes to see in there. But all of his high hopes slowly fall upon looking at the huge mirror his room has.

He can't even fit himself in the mirror because of his size. He can't even see his neck because of how huge he became for the past years.

This is the main reason why he doesn't make any good friends. No one likes to be friends with him for a stupid reason and he just got used to it that he accepted no one can be his friend.

Aside from this one..

This one that he can't consider just a friend.

Cloud, was Sky's first friend although they're not studying in the same school. Cloud is a much more smart than him, Cloud is much more handsome and hot than him. Even Sky can't understand what Cloud saw to him to even think of being his friend for almost a year now.

Bumuntong-hininga s'ya bago dahan-dahang naibagsak ang mga kamay dahil sa pagkadismaya.

Cloud is definitely the opposite of Sky. While Sky has a huge size, Cloud is fit. While Sky doesn't have the brains, Cloud is one of the most smartest one in his school.

And lastly if Sky has no other friends than Cloud himself, Cloud has plenty.

Because of this kind personality, Sky can't help himself but to slowly fall in love with Cloud. Minsan lang sila magkita, and that's really understandable considering they don't share the same schedule as they're from different schools.

Cloud accepted Sky as whoever he is and just by that, Sky became probably one of those happiest person ever that day. The fact that someone accepted on who you are, what do you have and all of your flaws is just the greatest.

But that's all. Hanggang doon nalang ang pwedeng maging dahilan para maging masaya si Sky. He can't hope for more, he can't ask for more.

He knows, he's aware. A friend, is just a friend. He can't ask for more because if he did, he might lose it all.

He don't wanna take the risk, no way! Cloud is just the only person who accepted him from being who he is and actually became his very first friend. Ayaw n'yang mawala ang samahan na meron sila kaya naman wala sa isipan n'yang umamin.

Nagulat pa si Sky nang maramdaman ang pag-vibrate ng telepono n'ya mula sa bulsa kaya agad n'ya itong kinapa at tinignan kung sino ang tumatawag although he already know who it was.
