"Stop being stubborn, Hayel! I can spare your life, just tell me where the child is".
"I'd rather die! Go ahead, kill me! Just get it over with, Lischan!"
He stood tall, with a sword in his left hand as he looked down on the woman he once loved. She was lying helplessly on the muddy ground which was a result of the heavy downpour. Her white dress was stained with dirt.
"Hayel, that child is not worth your blood, her father is not a good man. The best thing you can do is tell me where she is and I swear by the deities of the seven seas, I shall spare your life"
She looked him straight in the eyes. "Never".
"Then so be it. You have made your decision".
Using both hands, he held up his sword, tilting it to the side.
And in a heartbeat, he swung down the sharp blade through her flesh, killing her instantly."I cannot watch you suffer, my beloved".
