An Army

It really was an army. There were hundreds of Daleks. All of them were in a giant cavern. By the look of things, the Daleks had been there for a very long time. There were multiple levels, like an amphitheatre without the seats. On each level, there were Daleks lined up in rows, facing in the general direction of the cavern's opening. At the very back of the cavern, all the way against the right wall, was a giant spaceship.

"That spaceship is underneath tons of rock and dirt," the Doctor said. "These Daleks must have crash landed centuries ago."

"Yeah," Mist agreed. Then he noticed something. "Doctor, none of these Daleks are moving."

It was true. None of the Daleks that the Doctor could see were moving. The one they had been following had disappeared, probably into the spaceship. The Doctor and Mist walked up to the Daleks. They were all covered in dust and cobwebs. The Doctor pulled his Sonic Screwdriver out of his saddle bags and scanned the Daleks.

"They're all deactivated," the Doctor said. "It's like they're hibernating, waiting for the right moment to wake up."

"What moment is that, exactly?" asked Mist.

"I don't know," the Doctor replied. "But I'll bet we would find some answers in that ship."

"What about the Dalek that we saw earlier?"

        "We'll be careful."

"Yeah, because that always works out."

They headed towards the ship, and saw that it was opened. They slowly walked in. They took a series of twists and turns, not knowing exactly what they were looking for.

"I wonder how long this has been here," the Doctor said, stopping to look in an open doorway.

"Probably a while," Mist replied as they continued walking. "But not too long. These caves have been forgotten by everypony. Even the princesses have forgotten about these caves. The last time somepony was down here was centuries ago, right before they were sealed off."

        "How do you know that?"

        "I... I don't remember."

"I mean, seriously. If everyone forgot about them, how do you know so much?"

"I really don't know. I try to remember, but it hurts. Its like pricking myself with a hot needle."

Soon, they came to the end of the hall. The only thing left was a big room at the very end, so they would have had to turn around and retrace their steps to get out.

The room was huge, but really empty, so it seemed even bigger. There was lots of machinery lining the edges of the room. On the wall on the far end of the room was a giant screen.

The Doctor and Mist walked to the end of the room. Below the screen was a giant keyboard like thing. The Doctor cautiously pressed a button and the screen lit up. The Doctor wasn't sure what the screen was showing, but Mist gasped.

"What is it?" the Doctor asked.

"It... It's a map of Equestria," Mist replied, slowly. "This is a battle plan."

"Correct," said a robot-ish voice behind them.

The Doctor and Mist whirled around and found themselves facing three Daleks.
