Just For A Moment (A Jolivia Story)

Prologue

Every story has a beginning. This story starts inside a high school gymnasium.

"I'm sorry I wasn't there for you when you needed me most. I can do better.", said Joshua, with tears slowly drooping down from his eyes.

"You know what, it's about time you knew what you've been doing wrong.", said Olivia as she wipes his tears to then kiss him on the cheek.

"And cut!"

A man yells out loud.

"That's a wrap on Josh and Liv!"

The voices of many start cheering and clapping. The director hugs the two actors after a job well done.

"You guys did great.", said the director.

The classroom door then opens. The rest of the show's cast starts to pour in and hug Olivia and Joshua.

"Literal chills, you guys.", Matt Cornett remarked.

"Not me getting emotional.", said Frankie Rodriguez.

As the night goes on, the cast and crew start packing their bags and begin to leave the set, all except Olivia and Josh.

"Even Ricky knows his mistakes.", said Olivia in a bitter manner.

"Oh come on Liv! Give me a break! That was years ago!", Josh replied.

"Whatever Josh, promises are meant to be broken anyway, right?" said Olivia, refusing to make eye contact with Josh.

Josh drops his bag on the floor. Liv gets a bit startled from the loud boom.

"You're not getting the point! You were too young for me, so I moved on.", said Josh frustratingly.

"Promises are promises!", Liv quickly fired back at Josh.

"I didn't make any promises!", Josh replied.

"Bullshit Josh! Maybe it was better that we broke up.", Liv barks at Josh, walking away, trying to fight her tears.

"Maybe it was.", Josh says to himself as he stand alone, in the dark.
