CHAPTER 2
WHEN THE SKY TRIED

"What's wrong with you really?!" asked Sky when they get out of the house, "Why are you acting weird in front of your friends? Parang kanina lang ang sabi mo sa akin ay mababait sila but what you did only made them think that I'm not welcoming them in here!"

"Are they really welcome in here, Sky?" tanong ni Cloud, which Sky thinks is a complete nonsense!

Why wouldn't Sky welcome them if clearly, they do are kind!

Sila Jenny at Marie pa mismo ang nagpakilala sa sarili nila and they support Sky, literally! To the fact na silang dalawa pa mismo ang nag s-ship sakanilang dalawa ni Cloud! Not mentioning that they are proud to say right in front of Sky that they are in a relationship despite their genders?

Sky thinks that's also a flaws for other people! But Jenny and Marie proudly spill that out in front of him. Isn't that a s sign of being a kind person?

So why?! Why would Sky, ever pretends that he really do allow Cloud's friends inside? If they are really really kind?

"Nag-aalala kasi ako e'." natigilan sa kaka-isip si Sky sa narinig.

Why would he worry? For what?

"Nag-aalala ako na baka napilitan ka lang sa gusto ko. I know that you don't like this kind of things, Sky. But I still insist of inviting them over." halatang nag-aalala nga si Cloud sa boses n'ya. Well.. really.

Hindi naman kasi mukhang galit si Cloud, nor jealous, sad or what. His eyes really do shout concern.

Napa-isip tuloy si Sky..

Is this what Cloud is thinking about for the rest of the conversation him and his friends had?

Na baka at napilit n'ya si Sky and that makes Sky uncomfortable? Because if that's the case then.. everything would make sense.

"A while ago, you really do look so down. Kaya naaasar ako sa sarili ko kasi ang iniisip ko ay napilitan ka lang talaga." he sighed, "Besides you didn't look at me again after your last words. Kaya mas nag-alala ako."

"So that's the reason why you wanted to talk outside?" asked Sky which is obviously the case, "Para hindi nila marinig and they will not think the wrong way?"

"Exactly." said Cloud, "Pero mukhang iba nga ang naisip nila. Sorry, di ako nag-isip bago kita niyaya sa labas."

Malakas na buntong-hininga si Sky bago tumingin sa likuran kung nasaan nakasilip sa ngayon ang mga kaibigan ni Cloud.

He raised his head to face this tall man in front of him, get his courage and talk, "Sa totoo lang, nainis nga ako. But that's not the reason why. I have other reason."

"Why is it?"

"Would you resolve it?"

"Yeah!" said Cloud proudly, "I think.. I can? Ano ba yun?"

Bahagyang napangiti si Sky, "Sira! Wag nalang. Alam ko naman na hindi mo kaya and it's not a big deal to put a lot of attention. Ang mas mabuti pa ay pumasok na tayo saka sabihin sa mga kaibigan mo na wala lang ang lahat. I'm afraid they really got the wrong idea, Cloud."

Napakunot pa ng noo si Cloud ng ilang beses n'yang makita si Sky na patingin-tingin sa likuran n'ya kaya naman pati s'ya ay napatingin doon. And that's when he realized his friends are peeking in the window, trying to overheard their conversation which is impossible since they're too far away from where Sky and Cloud are.

Muling napatingin si Cloud kay Sky habang nagkakamot ito ng batok, "They're kinda bit nosy aren't they?"

Bahagyang natawa si Sky, "I actually like it." he replied before putting his gazes back at Cloud who's still looking at his peeking friends, "They made me feel better even if we just met this day."
